Beautiful craftsman type style home. Everything seemed as advertised, The host was very communicative and helpful. Maybe a few more trash bags and dishwasher pods, we stayed 4 nights and ran out of both. Would definitely recommend.

The unit was physically attractive - Arts and Crafts look, and it is well located. The three-foot sunken family room was an issue, the stairway lacked handrails and one of our party fell down the stairs as once they lost their balance as there were no handrails to grab onto. The kitchen was invested with ants, so we had to wash everything before using. And all the non-stick cookware was badly scratched, so unsafe to use.

Very please that you have enjoyed some aspects of the place and the arts. Sorry to hear that you lost your balance.on the 2 steps stairways. There is on each side of the two steps , there is a wall you can lean on, so I don’t really see the need to install a handrail. It is not necessary.

The house was the perfect size for our group. Having 2 living spaces to relax in helped separate the kids and adults. The kitchen was spacious and had all the items to cook and bake as desired.

I’m going to be very picky so if you are too then you can truly see everything. The code to get in was honestly very tricky. Every time we tried to get in, it took multiple tries. We tried everything. No specific thing got it, just whenever it felt like working, it worked. If you are a light sleeper, maybe not the place for you. There is someone that lives upstairs and I could hear walking around, a dog barking, water running, etc. All normal house things, but if you want to sleep in, no. On the same note, every sleeping place is bright as day as soon as the sun comes up. Either you have to suck it up, or bring an eye mask because it’s very bright in the mornings. Other than that, the property was great. Location was good, walkable to beach and some restaurants. Downtown isn’t really the most walkable but it was a close drive. Parking is no issue, we had a few cars there and we always got parking right in front of the house. No issues, but we honestly were just looking for a place to sleep and spent most of our time outside. 6 people was tight but we made it work.

This is a very cute house with a nicely furnished kitchen. It’s walkable to a few beaches and some local restaurants. The second full bathroom is on the other side of the kitchen and living room so make sure you bring a robe.

House was clean, check in was easy. AC didn’t work well. House felt extremely humid while ac was on. Beach was a walk away if you want nothing but rocks. Overall ok stay.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you found the home clean and the check-in process easy. We’re sorry to hear the beach access and indoor comfort didn’t fully meet your expectations. For future guests, we’d like to note that there are several nearby beach access points. The stairs at the end of Cassidy Road lead to a rocky section at high tide, but during low tide it opens up to a beautiful sandy beach. There is also a larger sandy beach just a short walk away. Regarding the humidity, we did inspect the home after checkout and found several windows open, which can affect both indoor humidity levels and air conditioning performance, particularly in our coastal climate. The AC system has otherwise been operating as intended. We appreciate your stay and your feedback, as it helps us continue to improve the guest experience.

The kitchen is large and wonderful! The house is nice, even though the layout is a bit strange due to it being an older home that has been remodeled. The two bedrooms are next to one full bathroom, but the other bathroom (3/4) is clear across the house so you have to walk through the kitchen down a few stairs through the family room, then up a few other steps to get to it.Mattresses were great--memory foam. Lots of towels (bath and beach), shampoos, and lotions. Ice maker on the large fridge/freezer made ice but didn't dispense it properly. However, it was easy enough to open the ice maker and grab ice out. The main complaint we had was that the thermostat was set so that you could never lower the temperature below 72 degrees, which made for uncomfortable sleeping on hot nights. And if you prefer to sleep in dark room, bring a sleep mask because although the shades give privacy but let in a lot of light.Overall, great stay!

Great place to stay if you are planning on going to the beach. Warm and cozy outfoor fire pit to lounge around after your beach visit. Plenty of places to sit inside and out. Close to the Harbor Beach.
