Great stay and location
Family of 5 stayed at this property very nice accommodation and location. All the people we interacted with were lovely and helpful. When I come back to this area, I would definitely stay here again
Paradise Ballyferriter Style
A stunning house in the equally stunning location of Ballyferriter, short walk of a couple on minutes and your in the town, local shop that sells everything, 3 pubs 1 restaurant and a museum which also has a café. The house has everything you could possibly need ( even wi-fi ) a very well equipped kitchen and 4 large bathrooms, plenty of private parking all exactly as described by the owner, Micheal, Communications with Micheal and Maura and Sharon who met us on arrival was again brilliant. The area itself is breath taking , short drives of 10 minutes and the bays/coves with spectacular views have to been seen to be believed. We had a brilliant week and was very sorry to leave, already planning a return to the area and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thank you Micheal, Maura and Sharon for making everything perfect and allowing us the use of your wonderful home.

The perfect property in the perfect location
The moment we stepped foot into this lovely home in Ballyferriter, we were smiling ear to ear. Pictures don't even do it justice. Spacious, clean, well appointed, comfortable and in a great little village on the Slea Head Drive - couldn't ask for better.
We were traveling with two children (ages 5 and 9) and appreciated the space to spread out - the kids even had their own sitting room to play in and made good use of the back garden to run around during dry/ sunny spells. The local park in Ballyferriter and Beal Ban beach were also a hit.
Check in/ check out and communication with hosts was good. Sharon checked in on us during our stay and was a kind a gracious host, supplying us with lots of extra wood and peat for the fireplace which we enjoyed in the evenings.
I would highly recommend An Máimín to any family wanting to explore the beauty of the Dingle peninsula in a genuine Irish village away from the crowds. The kids (and hubby and I) were reluctant to come home.
Thanks Michael, Sharon and family for the lovely stay.
Great base to explore the Dingle peninsula
Very comfortable and cosy cottage - ideal if you are looking to relax. The position in Ballyferriter offers all you need: lovely views and walks, a shop and a few pubs within walking distance and Dingle not too far away. We had a great time and Micheal's family contributed by going out of their way to help.
A pleasure to host you all in our house and many thanks for the great review. We look forward to you coming back in the near future.
Super house for family holiday
Everything we needed - close to shop/pubs/playground. Short drive or long walk to beach. Beal ban beach ideal for children.
Many thanks to you and your family for chosing our house and indeed you are very right about Béal Bán beach being great for kids.
Looking forward to hosting you again soon.
Warm & Cozy
The property was so clean and well kept. Michael and his sister Sharon were very accommodating, warm and treated us like family. The three bedrooms were large and comfortable including three large, full bathrooms. There was a nice fireplace with everything needed to make warm fires. I highly recommend this property! We had an amazing time and would stay here again. The property owners make sure you have everything you need during your stay and are easily reachable.
Thank you so much for the lovely review and it was an absolute pleasure to host you in our house. We look forward to you coming back in the near future.
Baile an Fheirtearaigh (Ballyferriter) is a village in the heart of the Irish speaking area (Gaeltacht) of the Dingle Peninsula. The village is on the regional road which loops from Dingle around the spectacular Slea Head drive via Ballyferriter back to Dingle. The village has a church, three pubs and a hotel as well as two grocery shops, a local restaurant (seasonal) and a small museum. Many Irish language courses are organised by Comharchumann Corca Dhuibhne. The house is a 20 minutes walk from Béal Ban beach.
