Rockberry Apartment offers comfortable accomodation for two and a truly breathtaking uninterrupted panoramic view extending across the whole of Tor Bay to Portland (visability permitting).

Situated on the South West Coast path and literally yards from the sea, Rockberry is ideal for couples wanting an active holiday.

The apartment consists of a well equipped kitchen-living room, a quiet double bedroom and bathroom with a large separate shower. It is the top floor of a Victorian villa and is fully self contained. The helpful and friendly owners occupy the lower floors. There is free wi-fi available with this appartment.

Unusually for Brixham, a single, free off road parking space is available with this property.

This apartment is ideal for couples looking for a special place with a wonderful sea view to enjoy.

The Rockberry Apartment is a top floor flat of a Victorian villa. It is fully self contained and has it's own entrance via a 6 meter external spiral staircase.

Brixham is a picturesque fishing town set in an outstanding coastline. The town has a number of good restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. Dartmouth, Torquay, Totnes, the River Dart, the South Hams and Dartmoor are all easily accessible.

Rockberry is situated on the Shoalstone side of Brixham, a short walk past the harbour and marina from the centre of town. The Shoalstone sea water swimming pool is approximately 200 meters away. Breakwater Beach (swimming and scuba diving) is a couple of minutes walk away. Shoalstone beach (scuba and snorkelling) and Brixham Marina are also within a few minutes walk. Berry Head Country Park, a site of special scientific interest, with lovely walks and more fabulous views is a 10 minute walk away.

Brixham is an ideal location from which to enjoy an active holiday. Fishing, diving, swimming, sailling and boat charters, golf, and great walks are all easily available.

There are a number local regattas throughout the summer season. In addition there is the Brixham Heritage week, the Steam Fair and other local shows and fesitvals.

The apartment features a fitted kitchen with built in appliances including a four ring hob, full sized oven, fridge with ice box, dishwasher, washing machine and a separate microwave. There is dining seating for four people. The living area has a comfortable leather sofa, two comfortable chairs and a large wall mounted flat screen TV with a DVD player. The bedroom over looks a quiet garden area. It has a comfortable large double bed with a quality mattress, a chest of drawers and a built-in wardrobe. The bathroom has a full sized bath and separate large shower.

The view, the people, amazing walks, and most of all the sea.

Inclement and changeable weather is a fact of life for the winter months, but in my little aerie overlooking the sea I was cozy and content. With a longer stay that included days of spectacular sunshine and beautiful rainbows I was able to settle in inside a perfectly laid out apt with the ocean steps away. Well-equipped and cheerful decor, clean and comfortable. Hosts were gracious and responsive. Short walk to the harbor and one of the most dramatic outlooks at Berry Head, not to mention miles of southwest coastal paths. Known as a key fishing village, Brixham has a lot of ...fish on offer, but also pubs and winding, hilly streets to explore, full of local shops On Torbay it is near other coastal towns with access to public transit to get around the Devon countryside, even a steam train! A beautiful place to sojourn, as long as you are ok with the spiral staircase for access. So 5 stars all around!

Fabulous appartement , incredible sea views , outdoor spiral staircase perfectly manageable and safe , very well equipped kitchen , excellent quality bed and bed linen . Local beaches a doorstep away and would highly recommend the little bistro on the beach . Looking forward to return .

What a View

Very warm and comfortable accommodation. Well equipped throughout. I should think that it has one of the best views in Brixham. Car parking a real bonus.

Seaside Sanctuary: A Blissful Retreat.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this apartment in Brixham, and it exceeded all our expectations. The location was simply fantastic, offering breathtaking views from the panoramic window that overlooked the stunning surroundings. The apartment itself was immaculate, with every corner clean and tidy, making us feel instantly at home. The presence of WiFi and a TV provided the perfect balance between keeping up with work and unwinding after a long day, while the full working kitchen allowed us to prepare meals or enjoy a takeout with ease. The inclusion of both a shower and a bathtub was a welcomed feature, adding an extra touch of luxury to our stay. Additionally, the hosts were incredibly accommodating, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. One of the highlights was the off-road parking, providing peace of mind and convenience during our stay. Long weekend

Welcomed by Kevan, apartment as advertised, yes the stairway is steep but worth it for the fabulous view. Easy walking distance to Berry Head and Brixham harbour/town. Would happily stay there again.

Kevan and Gemma live in the two floors below the apartment, unfortunately our views are not as good as in the apartment. We both work as osteopaths, our main clinic is in Torquay. We have two sons. We love living in Devon and in Brixham in particular. We enjoy sea swimming, cycling and walking in Dartmoor, kayaking, canoeing and rowing.

PLEASE NOTE: The spiral staircase. It looks worse than it is. It is fine if you are ok with stairs. If you are not we would advise that there are probably more suitable properties for you.
