Located on Norton Park, a rural 22 acre site, it has great views from most directions, some looking towards the River Dart, others across rolling countryside. The site has lawns around the chalets with space for outdoor picnics and barbecues and is perfect for children to play safely away from any traffic. Close by is a large Sainsbury's, with a petrol station and cash point, and there is also a Lidl. A bus runs from the entrance to Norton Park to Dartmouth every two hours. A Park & Ride facility to avoid congestion in Dartmouth operates throughout the summer months and is located next to the town's Leisure Centre and swimming baths just down the road from Norton Park.
Styled with an Ocean/Beech feel to a high standard, Snuggler's Rest is a warm and cosy home from home.

Hi Barbara - thanks for taking time to review the chalet and in a very positive way, it is much appreciated. We are glad that you enjoyed you stay - Regards Paul & Sharon
Snugglers Rest is a beautiful chalet on a very quiet park. Spotlessly clean & beautifully decorated. The kitchen is very well stocked with utensils & equipment for self catering. It is a 5min drive to Sainsburys & Lidl as well as the park & ride. For those not used to Devon roads beware that the entrance is on a hill & a bend. We loved our week and would definitely return.

Thanks very much Angie for your kind review - it is much appreciated that you took the time to comment and particularly that you were so complementary. We love the chalet it & its great that others appreciate it as well. Look out for offers on Facebook Google search. Sorry it has taken us some time to respond as we have been away ourselves. Thanks again Paul & Sharon
Lovely little spot with everything in it you could need. Small but packed with goodness, and I imagine a lot of fun for a family group. Might even bring my teens down for a stay sometime.
Many thanks,
Alison

Hi Alison, your review has only just been posted on the account so I just thought I would write to say thanks for the lovely review and am glad you had a good time. You are of course welcome anytime, Regards Paul & Sharon
We stayed end of August & it was hands down the best trip we've had in the UK. The chalet was awesome, fully equipped and very cosy. It was located near so many great activities and just outside of Dartmouth, perfect location. The host was fantastic at communication. We will be back!

Natalie - WOW!! That has to be the best review we have ever had!
Sorry for responding late only we have been away for the last 2 months (including when you visited Snuggler's) in France, Canada & USA & have only just got back.
So happy that you enjoyed the chalet - we love it & only rent it out so we can cover the costs
You will be most welcome should you wish to return
If you want a relaxed and family friendly place to stay close to Dartmouth then this is the ideal accommodation to book.
The site was quiet and family friendly with big green grassy areas right out the front door away from cars for children to play safely.
The chalet was clean and had everything you could imagine to be a home from home.
We really enjoyed our stay here.
It is super close to two supermarkets and a few minutes drive into the centre of Dartmouth.

VRBO have just released your comments. Really glad you had a fabulous time at Snuggler's Rest and thank you for the lovely review. You didn't mention the weather during your stay, but we hope it was hot & sunny as usual for this time of year. Come back anytime. Regards Paul & Sharon
Very quiet location, minutes from Park and Ride. Everything in the chalet you need for holiday. Just remember to take one and two pound coins for meter. Overall really nice

Thanks Mary for leaving a nice commentary on your visit - glad you enjoyed it overall. The electricity is always a problem as everybody would always like an "inclusive" cost, but we are supplied by the site rather than a normal supplier so all the chalets have pre-paid meters. Sorry for our late reply, due unfortunately to a bereavement of a close family member. Regards Paul & Sharon

Cosy Snuggler's Rest
Inside the property was beautifully decorated and furnished. The images of the interior is exactly as per the web pages and very clean. Essential utensils were virtually brand new. Beds were so comfortable with fresh linen. My disappointment was the exterior images on the website. The photo that claims to be a view from the property is false. The photo of the property grounds showing beautiful detached chalet is not where we stayed. The actual chalet is a row of adjoining smaller units but fortunately, ours was the end unit with just one neighbour to our right to content with the noise. It's understandable the car parking needs to be away from the property to give that experience of tranquillity however, the walk to car park is a narrow footpath so close to the building block that you are literally brushing past all the front entrances of other dwellers. You could walk on the grass verge but not ideal when it's overgrown. It seemed pretty normal for our neighbour to let their pet dog run around without the leash frightening the hell out of my seven year old child! Yes, the property is south facing but not the best view of the back wall of the adjacent block of units looking outside of the window. The place is great as a base so that you can tour the area of beauty but staying there for more than three nights would be too much to handle the stresses of claustrophobic block building. Was it value for money? May be...just may be.
