While we ensure that all beds are equipped with mattress protectors, pillows, pillowcases, quilts, and quilt covers, we kindly ask guests to bring their own sheets, towels, bath mats, and tea towels. Additionally, guests are expected to provide their own laundry detergent, dish soap, personal soap, and toilet paper among other personal necessities.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place is a bit run down. One bed didn’t have a mattress, there were things broken in the kitchen and the fan in the main bedroom was broken. It’s got potential but needs an inspection and a thorough clean.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is awesome, the house not so much. Lots of cobwebs, food scraps such as sausage, wrappers, biscuits etc down cracks in lounge downstairs. Very mouldy & smelt stuffy especially downstairs. Shelves in kitchen dirty, food scraps in grill. Doors downstairs very difficult to open & close & curtains falling down on one sliding door. We always enjoy our time in Hat Head & have been visiting for over 30 years, I would have to say unfortunately the Castle is probably the dirtiest house we have stayed in. We still enjoyed our stay, like I said the location saves this house.

Very Comfortable

A very comfortable property although a little outdated. Needs a warning on stairway to alert persons of overhead hazard. Overhead fans especially in the bedrooms would be an improvement. Other than this quite comfortable.
