Redlands is a 25 acre property in the heart of the Yarra Valley. Located just over an hour from Melbourne CBD, the property gives a taste of country life for those wanting to escape the cities hustle and bustle. Sit and relax whilst the kids play in the fresh air on the outdoor basketball court and kids playground area. The property boast 3 seperate dwellings Mirenbeena (meaning-Welcome), Gwinganna (Meaning -The Lookout) and Girraween (meaning- Meeting place) on the owners small scale farm, but are totally independant.
Girraween house has a semi industrial feel with its polished concrete floors, wine Barrels etc. It is the perfect house for large family/friend gatherings of approx 20+ guests, where there is enough room for everyone without feeling crowded.
Located in the heart of the Yarra Valley, 1 hour from Melbourne CBD, the property gives a taste of country life for those wanting to escape the cities hustle and bustle.
Ideal place for Family reunions, retreats, craft groups or just a large group of friends getting together.
Guests can access most of the grounds, along with the basketball court and playground area.

Big accommodation close to vineyards

The property suited our needs for a large group. It needs a few repairs here and there and a bit of a clean up, but was fantastic in proximity for vineyards. It was also great that there were multiple living spaces, so the kids could use the games rooms and the adults could enjoy some time by the fire. The owners were lovely and the kids loved feeding the animals.

Huge rural property, great for a large group

We had 13x of us here for three nights over a long weekend. The property is huge! Ample beds for everybody, a large kitchen and dining space, plus a comfortable lounge. I'd highly recommend for family/friend getaways. Beautiful views out the back as the sun is setting, too.

Relaxed and peaceful

We were 4 families aged between 2 months and 70 yr old. We had a very nice and relaxing stay. The property is very big so the guests are not in each others face. Yes the ensuites were very small and old but it didn't matter much because the main aim was a get together and we all loved it. Lots of activities for kids to do and lots of space to run around. We will be back for sure.

Birthday weekend

Spent a great weekend celebrating my birthday with family and friends. Paula could not be more accomodating. Great house for a large group, albeit somewhat quirky. Only thing I could suggest is it could do with mirrors in bedrooms, saving congestion in the bathroom. Overall great place.

We had a fantastic time staying here over the Easter long weekend. Finding accommodation for 11 adults and 9 kids is always difficult but this was perfect. There was plenty of space particularly in the living room. The kids had a ball - they played on the basketball court, pool table, table tennis table and rode their scooters up and down the paths.
