Charming victorian, walking distance to downtown, restaurants, and wineries.

100 year old Victorian, once lived in by Robert Mondavi. The house is down the street from the popular Farmstead Restaurant and walking distance to wineries and downtown St Helena. Enjoy all that the wine country has to offer from the comfort of your own home, while enjoying the pool, spa and barbecue. This home has been enjoyed by the owner and her friends and family for over 25 years.
My home has 3 bedrooms, 1 king and 2 queens. There is also an upstairs loft, with a trundle bed perfect for older kids!
Please see house rules. No large gatherings, maximum 6 people unless otherwised agreed upon. Please note that there is no AC or Heat in the loft or living room of the guesthouse. There is central HVAC in main house (new unit installed in 2021) and a split unit in the bedroom of the guesthouse. There are also ceiling fans in master bedroom, and both bedroom and living room of guesthouse.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
If there is excessive trash and food, please take out. Trash cans are halfway down the driveway. We do encourage putting recycling in the blue can (no plastic bags).
If time permits, start a load of towels. It helps my housekeeper when there is a lot of laundry to turnover the house for the next rental.
Please lock all doors, close all windows, and turn off the AC in both the guesthouse and house.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please respect my neighbors and the 10pm cutoff for using the spa and pool. I am a permit holder, and must abide by the city rules.
The fireplace is non-working
No more than 6 people are allowed to stay at the house, and if any rules are broken, your security deposit and stay may be at risk.

Thanksgiving in St. Helena

The property was perfect for our family. It was very clean and the linens were very comfortable. We enjoyed cooking, and especially enjoyed the spa. The location is terrific too!

Girlfriend Getaway

Overall, it was a great stay. We loved being able to walk to downtown St. Helena. The hot tub was a wonderful place to relax at the end of the day.

Great Experience

Susan’s home was wonderful in the heart of St Helena. The home was on a nice quiet street with plenty of parking. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need and the bedrooms/bathrooms were all in great shape. We especially loved the pool/hot tub. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing trip to Napa valley.

Great Home, Great Location

What a charming home! It was perfect for 3 couples enjoying a weekend of wine tasting. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom and the house has plenty of space to spread out. The backyard was an excellent place to relax and we enjoyed the jacuzzi. The location is in a quiet neighborhood and we liked being able to walk to town for shopping and dinner. House was equipped with all the amenities we needed and was very clean. Highly recommend this home!

Our St Helena trip

What a wonderful and gorgeous property! The location is ideal and we were able to walk to dinner each night. A quiet street off the Main Street made everything so easy. The house is comfortable and charming with a great patio and deck with pool. A great place to reflect with friends and family after a day of visits to wineries. The pictures of this property don’t do it justice. Very well kept older home w all the amenities. Close enough to walk into St Helena for coffee, pastries, restaurants and shopping. It was a warm weekend so we made good use of the pool and spa. Beds were very comfy and kitchen well stocked. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place to be!

Our family of 6 stayed here while visiting Napa. The home is charming and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool as it was very hot while we were there. The location in St. Helena was terrific as we could walk to restaurants, shops and the market! Susan was quick to communicate. Very enjoyable!

Best Location

My friends and I have made Napa an annual trips for almost 10 years now and we have stayed at many different properties and I have to say, this house was perfect. The location is walking distance to the downtown area, dining and shopping. Susan made arriving and departing as simple as possible. The rooms were spacious and clean. We really enjoyed the hot tub and patio. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Perfect location!!

We were thrilled with this rental! The house was adorable & charming. Plenty of space for the 6 of us and the perfect location! There were so many great spots to sit outside & enjoy your coffee or a glass of wine. We loved the pool & hot tub too. The location really was so convenient. We walked to dinner every night at several great restaurants and were a very short drive from several great wineries. If I get to go back to St. Helena I will definitely stay here again!

Fantastic property in St. Helena

Loved everything about the house. Close To town , beautiful property, spacious living and dining and kitchen. Just great. Would be even better in the summer when the pool is open and could sit out on the deck. We came late November. Just great.

Charming and Central

We had a wonderful stay at Susan's property. The house was super clean and so charming and comfortable. We had plenty of space for our family (5 adults, 2 kids), and we really enjoyed the pool on the one warm day we had during our stay. We also enjoyed an energetic game of Monopoly, Napa Valley edition. The new bathroom is gorgeous! You cannot beat the location. We loved waking to the shops and restaurants in St. Helena every day. Susan was very welcoming and helpful. We hope to come back!

Cute and comfortable home in an amazing location!

We spent a long weekend in Napa Valley and really enjoyed this home. The home is older as is the style of this cute neighborhood and it’s very clean and comfortable. The beds were nice, linens soft, plenty of towels and a nicely stocked kitchen as well. Truly my only issue was with the tiny mirror in the master bathroom as it was a bit of a challenge to get ready and share with my husband. However, there are other mirrors in the living room to use as well. The location is perfect - could not have been better. We walked to great restaurants and were only a few blocks from Sunshine Market too. Highly recommend the Napa Valley Olive Oil Co at the end of the block for amazing cheeses, meats and olive oil too. Hope to be back again next year!

Why they chose this property

This 100+ year old Victorian has created amazing memories for so many. When I lived in the bay area, I would spend every weekend at my house, with guests from all over. Everyone who has stayed here feels my home is such a special place. The convenience to walk to town is huge bonus. No need to get in the car, if you don't want to, plenty of restaurants and wineries near by. I know you'll love my home as much as me and friends and family do!
