Beautiful quiet lake home in Central Florida

The home sits on a 100 acre private lake. Lake McMeekin is a spring fed, clear water lake great for fishing and swimming. (Loaded with bass and pan fish) The house has a large screened porch that faces the lake to watch the sunset. It is completely furnished with everything you need. Has Wi if, 2 kayaks, canoe and use of the dock. The area is quiet, in the country. Located in between Gainesville and Palatka. Both 1/2 an hour drive.

The property was clean, quiet and all amenities were provided.! All we needed to bring were our clothes, food and liquid refreshments! Our hosts were super friendly, accommodating but not overbearing. The view of the lake was absolutely stunning in the evening..

Beautiful and Quiet spot in the country!

Our first night we were presented by the most beautiful sunset my wife and I have ever seen! We stayed at Cindy and Randys property for 6 weeks while travel nursing in Gainesville. Check in was a breeze! Great place to relax after stressfull days. We used the dock to swim several times a week, loaded up on vitamin D! C&R are so nice and accommodating! Nothing but great experiences throughout our stay! Located only 75 minutes from St. Augustine beach, 45 min from Silver springs, and 30 min from Gainesville! These locations are prime Florida fun! Thank you for everything!

Beautiful view. Great owners!

Randy was so helpful. Our son is in a wheelchair and Randy brought a ramp over to get the wheelchair up the stairs. The view is so peaceful, looking out at the lake.

Extremely pleased

Went to visit my 2 sons who live 2 hours away from each other. This house was a perfect location between them both. It is 1 hour from Jacksonville, 1 hour from St Augustine & about 20 mins from Gainesville. Perfect location if you want to visit multiple locations while on vacation. The owners were wonderful, so helpful and inviting. They have a great set up for swimming, fishing or just enjoying the lake life. House was perfect size for the 3 of us. Normally when we vacation we stay at a Hilton, I am so happy that we chose to book at this house. So much better than a hotel, we didn't have to worry about other people running down the hallways, or slamming doors and much more affordable. We will definitely book with them on our next vacation to Florida.
