This fun upstairs condo brings some rustic, old world charm to a modern, downtown Paso Robles location. Literally steps from wine-tasting rooms, art galleries, coffee, gourmet cheese shop and all the conveniences. You'll be situated minutes walking distance from the central square. Wander downstairs to shop at Di Raimondos for gourmet cheeses, imported deli items. and specialty foods. Big window views of the street scene, trees, and old-fashioned brick buildings--just classic. The condo has a large living space with the bedroom opening onto the living area. Large kitchen with all the necessities and bathroom with walk-in shower. In desperate need of TLC

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've probably stayed in over 10 different places in the area, and this is the first one that we will not stay in again.The positive is the location. Perfect location to walk to our favorite restaurants. Also, the bed is comfortable. Unfortunately, that's it. The first thing we noticed is that the unit has a musty smell. It was so bad that we had to buy a scented candle to be able to handle the odor. After we got over the smell, we noticed the moths. We must have squashed over a dozen of them during our stay. We then started to hear the critters in the wall. We're not sure how many of them there were, but clearing they were having a good time (we also noticed the ultrasonic mice repellants in the unit, so clearly management is aware of the problem). Finally, the curtains are so thin (not backers), that it is very bright in the morning (did not make the wife happy).If you are looking for a place to encourage you to stay out of the unit, this is the place for you. Otherwise, there are better options.

Love this place!

It is also super roomy - much better than a hotel room!

Convenient downtown location in Paso Robles

We came up for a weekend visit in February to wander the downtown and see Sensorio (amazing, totally worth every penny). This rental is very nice and super conveniently located. Paso Robles currently (2/24) is not enforcing parking so we were able to park in the small lot by the building and keep an eye on our vehicle from the rental. The rental has a giant touchscreen that is used for check in and check out and includes information about the property and had a map of the surrounding area so you could find shops, restaurants, etc. It was surprisingly quiet for a downtown location except for some early morning landscaping by the City. We had a great time shopping, wine tasting, checking out the antique stores, and restaurants. The cheese deli downstairs has a great selection of cheeses and made for a great lunch and afternoon snack. The folks there are also very helpful. If we are looking for a place to spend the night when in the Paso Robles area we would absolutely stay here again.

Great weekend getaway

I have stayed in this property in the past, and simply can't beat the location - being just a few steps from anything in downtown can't be beat. The cold November nights on this trip actually required some heating, and we were grateful to find extra blankets in the chest. We did experience an issue with the shower not shutting off, and management was very responsive even though they ultimately weren't able to correct the issue and there was no shower available on the morning of checkout. Even so, would stay again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. Clean. Quirky. Sorely outdated bathroom. BR is large enough for a king bed. Why not have one? Parking is not free. WiFi and TV were good. And one morning someone started leaf blower at SIX AM. How is that allowed??
