Malandy Cottage is a very popular & much loved holiday home that has been very successfully listed through another platform for nearly 5 years now and is situated in the beautiful lakeside township of Lake Conjola and an easy 2 1/2 hour to 3 hour drive from Sydney.
The cottage is close by to the waterfront reserve, approx. 40 metres from the beautiful coastal waterways of Lake Conjola & just a short stroll to a boardwalk which leads onto pristine Conjola Beach.
Our beautifully appointed cottage would appeal to couples looking for a tranquil & relaxing weekend getaway, spending quality time or catching up with good friends, ideal for a family getaway.
The main bedroom has a luxurious king bed with TV, private ensuite and walk-in robe. The second bedroom can made up as either 1 king bed or 2 x single long beds on request. The third bedroom has a queen/ king single bunk bed configuration. All bedrooms supplied with linen, doonas, blankets, bath towels, bath mats, hand towels & beach towels.There is a second large laundry bathroom where you can take a relaxing bubble bath in the free-standing bathtub before relaxing for the evening.The laundry also has a washer/dryer and is supplied with ironing board & iron.Our guests can enjoy an air-conditioned open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area and a wood fireplace to toast your toes on those cooler nights.The kitchen is fully equipped if you wish to whip up a meal, alternatively you can enjoy cooking a BBQ on the deck whilst watching the sun go down on another beautiful Conjola day. Enjoy your breakfast on the front verandah or take your cuppa down to the water’s edge and watch the wildlife come to life. We also suggest taking a plate of skoffles (cheese & biscuits) & a glass of wine and sit on the picnic bench and enjoy the serenity. I have a love for photography and have a passion for landscape & seascape photography some of which I have displayed around the cottage.We would all love our dogs to enjoy our holiday experience together so this property is pet friendly but we do appreciate that some of our guests are affected with allergies to pets (like my partner) so we can only allow small dog breeds(or by request depending on breed) in the cottage and we do request that they are restricted to living areas only and not be allowed on lounges or furnishings.

I loved the feel of the property. Everything was so familiar and comfortable. The trees that line the property are so pretty and cooling on hot summer days. Lovely to light a candle, fill up the cheese board and sip a cold glass wine on the outside deck. Thanks for a fab stay.

This place was fantastic! Super clean and comfortable, a short walk to the lake, and in a beautiful quiet location. Short walk to the lake edge and longer ones over to the dunes and surf beach. The house was clean, and not Celt set up. Our two terriers were unable to escape.

What can we say, I took my family to stay at this beautiful holiday, after my daughters wedding. Time to relax and wind down, it certainly did not disappoint in any way. It is a very complete home in every way including kitchen utensils. It had everything including kayaks, outdoor games. It had everything. My family and I would highly recommend this to everyone. All's good.

Everything was as described and the property presented exceptionaly well. Outside - a green lush lawn and shady trees. Inside - clean, comfortable, spacious and well equiped. We appreciated the kayaks in the shed as the lake is only a short walk away. The beach is a 15m minute walk away through the caravan park, or 15m along a bush track. The beach is dog friendly in the middle and south, but perhaps a bit too rough for kids. at low tide you can walk to the island. The nearby shop is handy for basic supplies. Lake Conjola is a very safe swimming area and popular with kids and families. Kangaroos hop down the street. One of the nicest places we have stayed at on the south coast and a credit to the owners.

Our newly listed luxury cottage would appeal to couples looking for a tranquil & relaxing weekend getaway, spending quality time or catching up with good friends, ideal for a family getaway.

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with this beautiful unspoiled area & coastline of the South Coast and have spent many holidays over the years at Lake Conjola. We were looking for a holiday house that had character but was also comfortable to spend our well earned holidays in. We loved the feel of the cottage as soon as we walked in, it had a calming positive vibe and the bonus was that we could still see the lake from the front windows of the house. We love it and hope you do too.
