Enjoy the good life in comfort and style at Baywatch, a wonderful Tybee Island getaway located on the secluded North end of the island. This immaculate Tybee vacation home has been professionally decorated with comfortable, light, and airy décor, which is the perfect setting for a serene island vacation. Relax in the casual luxury of this wonderful Tybee home. You may never want to leave!

The home's main level has a gorgeous custom kitchen open to the great room with beautiful hardwood floors and tall high ceilings. Your attention is drawn to the decorative fireplace with mounted TV above. The living area includes a plush sofa that opens to a queen-size sleeper if needed. The large dining table has plenty of seating for up to 8. An attached balcony with outdoor seating and a dining table is off the living area. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped. You will find all you will need to cook and serve your favorite meals with all stainless steel appliances. There is a choice of regular coffee and Keurig coffee makers. The center island has a breakfast bar seating for 4.

The first floor is home to a guest bedroom with a king-size bed and a flat-screen TV. (Bedroom 2). The attached full bathroom is also accessible through the hallway. The second floor of this beautiful home includes a gorgeous main bedroom suite. (Bedroom 1). This large room is furnished with a King size bed and a flat-screen TV. The bedroom opens to a beautiful covered porch that has pristine views of the bay. The attached bathroom has a soaking tub, a separate walk-in shower, and custom sinks. The third bedroom on this level is furnished with a Queen size bed and a full bath, also with a Jacuzzi tub. A daybed in the hall connects these two suites for additional sleeping options.

The home's ground level is a great entertaining space with a flat-screen TV, entertainment stereo, Ping-Pong table, games, books, and beach toys. Enjoy the beautifully landscaped yard with outdoor Adornondak chairs, a fire pit, and beach access to North beach just steps away. Large covered porches are furnished with plenty of seating for enjoying the Tybee breezes. Dine outdoors in the large outdoor dining area. There is also a gas grill for cookouts during your stay! Enjoy the views of the bay from the upper levels of this home. This is a spectacular option for guests looking for an upscale yet casual home away from home.

An enclosed hot and cold shower is available for rinsing off after a day at the beach. Parking is available for a maximum of 6 vehicles.

Wonderful relaxing beach vacation

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was very close to the beach and in a nice quiet neighborhood. The beach was great for walking and watching dolphins. It was perfect for our beach vacation.

Beach getaway

Property is conveniently located in the quiet historic district on the North side. The beach is just a few steps and bridge across the dunes located on the bay but very quiet. The ocean is a short walk to an access or beach walk if you’re looking for larger waves. Our family enjoyed this home and the all of its decks (especially after the neighbors trimmed the trees during our visit, even more nice clear views from the lower deck) and look out tower, great for viewing ships and tons of dolphins. This home had everything we needed from kitchen to beach gear.

Family Time with my Soldier!

We traveled to Tybee Island for the first time this trip and will be back! We rented this house to stay with our family while visiting my son who is stationed at Ft Stewart. We spent three wonderful days visiting Savannah and the surrounding area (which is beautiful!). We enjoyed some excellent family time at the house playing cornhole in the front yard, eating together, playing in the game room downstairs, and walking to the beach. It was the perfect setting for a much needed visit with my soldier!

Beautiful home and view

We enjoyed our stay overall but we did have some hiccups with the property. Firstly, this was one of the cleanest homes I have stayed in. Everything about this home was beautiful. Even though we had some issues, I would still highly recommend them. First, the full bathroom upstairs with the queen bed, the jets did not work. Also, where there were only sheer curtains on the bathroom, the neighbors could see literally EVERYTHING you did in that bathroom. The upper deck with the gorgeous view was beautiful, but I didn't realize you have to climb a ladder to access it and 2 of us were pregnant. Lastly, we did find several LARGE bugs throughout the home. Now, this could be due to a door being left open for a couple of minutes to bring things in, but still, it was not fun. Like I said, the home is gorgeous and being within steps to the beach was a plus. I do feel that they could use better signage to find the property as the home sits on a private drive with other homes and you don't really know where to turn even when following the directions they give you.

Absolutely Fantastic!

Staying in this house was a wonderful experience in every way. It’s location is perfect with a beautiful, nearly private beach just a short walk along the boardwalk across the dunes. Getting to Downtown Savannah is an easy 25 minute drive. The house is beautifully finished especially the bedroom suites on the second floor one of which has a view of the ocean. The bedroom on the first floor does not have a closet but there are plenty of drawers and hooks behind the doors. The ‘outdoor’ shower (actually in the basement) was great for was washing off the kids after the beach and the game room provided lots of entertainment for everyone. The kitchen/dining/living room area is marvelous. Although it is an expensive rental it is worth every cent.

Great place for a family get-away!

This home is wonderful for an entire family. It is close to the beach, there is a game room downstairs to entire all ages, and it is very close to shops and restaurants while still being very private and secluded feeling. The home is beautifully decorated and cared for on the inside and there is plenty of space for all. We will definitely be back! :)

The house was very spacious and afforded every amenity you could think of. The only negative comment that I would make is that the house is in need of some cosmetic upkeep especially the markings on the walls and the stains in the carpeting.

Great home and vacation

Our party of 6 enjoyed our Spring Break at this great property. It was very clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Lots of games, beach equipment, and a new fire pit. The location was great, away from all the crowds of the pier area but close enough to everything to still be convenient. We rented a golf cart and used it to get around on the island. The location is great for trips over to Savannah, too. And the best part is that the beach is just steps away! Would definitely rent this home and from TVR again in the future!

Home away from home ...plus the water

The property is a comfortable and beautiful home. Rooms and porches are spacious and allow family activity. We truly enjoyed our week. I think the "steps from the beach" comment should identify that the beach is on the river, not ocean. A renter unfamiliar with Tybee can miss the distinction.

My wife, 4 adult children, and grandson spent 5 amazing days in Baywatch. It is by far the best house in Tybee that we have ever stayed. All bedrooms were great and the living room and kitchen were excellent. From biking to kayaking among dolphins, we will have great memories of this vacation!

We stayed at the Baywatch with our 2 children, their spouses and our granddaughter. We chose this house for the 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The first night our daughter and son-in-law could not sleep because every time they moved the bed made a very annoying screeching sound. Their 21 mo. daughter was also in this bedroom. We tried to flip the mattress, etc. only to conclude that it was the box spring which needed to be replaced. I called the office and she said she would report it to the property manager. Whenwe didn’t hear anything, we moved the mattress to the floor(where they slept the remainder of the vacation). I called again on Monday morning and the girl in the office told me there weren’t any box springs available, but she would tell the property manager again. I asked for a discount since they were sleeping on the floor basically, but she said this wasn’t possible. So, needless to say, I wasn’t happy with the customer service on this problem. I believe a discount should be given.

I wish I could say that I had the time of my life! I'm sure the house is nice but, we didn't get the chance to see it. The management of this property is unacceptable to say the least. We did not get a chance to come and visit due to a hurricane and evacuation of Tybee Island. All we are asking is for either half of our money back or a year raincheck to plan our visit again. We are all coming from different states to visit and are not able to come by January. The company managing your property will not give us an answer as to which option they can provide for us. If we don't get a answer soon, then we will be sure to share our experience with others.
