First off, I do want to say that the communication with Philip was excellent and he even let us check in 2 hours early for free. I gave 1 star as this house is incredibly creepy. Upon arrival, there was an ouija board out in the open on the TV stand all by itself which we noticed within 60 seconds after getting there. This immediately gave this house a very unsettling vibe as it appeared the last guests had just used it before we arrived for our stay. For those that be unaware, ouija boards are used to communicate with spirits/entities both good and evil and essentially invite them into your life. I’m sure everyone has their own take on how harmless or harmful an ouija board can be, but I think nothing good can come from being around one of these, so it was hard for me and my wife to feel relaxed while inside this house. A bit about the house, it was relatively clean on arrival, the beds were comfy, the lighting is pretty poor throughout the house and definitely adds to the creepy vibe, the furniture and carpet is pretty old and we thought the pictures listed made this house look a little nicer than it actually is. We ended up checking out after one night as this house was overall just not the environment we were looking to stay in for our wedding weekend.
