The captains cottage has a charm all its own with lovely decor and interesting old time maritime themed pictures adorning the walls. It has a rear verandah with views out over the nearby dam and surrounding countryside, the perfect place for consuming your favourite beverage whilst watching the sun go down beyond the far horizon. The generous open fireplace offers the perfect ambience for those long cold winter nights when inside is calling as the frosty night begins to descend upon the paddocks surrounding this lovely property. Furnished with lovely antique brass bed, gas stove, kitchen sink and chest freezer, the cottage has its own charm. (there is also modern heating in the form of reverse cycle heating and cooling if so desired. This property oozes charm and tranquility and forces one to relax and unwind.

Excellent and delightful property.

This accomodation didn’t disappoint. Well presented and excellently appointed. Has real character and there were many nice touches that surprised and delighted. Will stay here again.

Ahoy mateys! We loved “setting sail” to your little getaway. No man over-board (or should I say bored?) with this quaint little cottage. So many things to keep us entertained. She be a fine vessel indeed! Looks like we found a little treasure ;) in Beechworth.

A cosy and warm little cottage, with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The perfect base to explore the region. Really appreciated being able to have a two dogs join us.
