About this property

Fabulous bach with large secluded sunny backyard just minutes from beach

This cute black cottage is situated close to the beach, shops, restaurants and cafes at Mount Maunganui. Positioned on a large section with plenty of space for kids to play as you kick back and lounge on the deck.

The Bach is open plan with wonderful big sliding doors that open up to the deck which flows to the back yard, along with a separate TV room. In winter there is a great gas fire to keep you warm and cosy. Three bedrooms, a separate shower and toilet and all the mod cons you could want in a Bach.

Located within walking distance to the beach, cafes, park, local shops, supermarket and golf course. Bayfair Shopping Centre and the Mount's boutique shops and restaurants only a short drive away - you are so close to everything.

Rates are for 4 guests. Additional guests up to a maximum of 6 are $25.00 per person per night. Linen provided. A compulsory cleaning fee applies per stay and this will already be included in your quote. Nightly rates will vary according to the time of year.

Beautiful sunny property in quiet street. Perfect place for a catch up with old friends and lots of beach walks. Kitchen was a brilliant space for all 4 of us to cook and not get in each other's way.

We stayed for a short break, the bach has everything you need (but do note there is no microwave). Lovely linen and towels. Unfortunately it rained the whole time but it has a lovely big backyard for summertime. Gas fire kept the place warm despite bad weather.

Fabulous spot to stay. Would love to come back in the summer time. Only issue was the driveway- I have a large vehicle and the driveway is steep & quite narrow. Cutting back the plants that over grow it would help.

Nice and easy stay

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It's clean, well-located near the beach, and just a short drive from Mount Maunganui. I particularly appreciated the shower, though adding a blind for privacy would be a nice touch. The backyard is fantastic for kids to play soccer. While the beds were a bit too soft for my taste, which led to some discomfort, this is purely a matter of personal preference—some may find them quite comfortable. The kitchen still lacks a microwave, but we managed without one. The hosts were very kind and courteous, although I did experience some anxiety when I didn't receive arrival information until the day before our departure. Thankfully, everything was resolved in time. Overall, it's a lovely and family-friendly property that's great for visiting Tauranga, and I would recommend it.

Amazing bach with everything you could want!

We stayed here as a family (including my parents) because my so. Had a waterpolo tournament. We couldn’t fault the place. It is so well appointed and the backyard has space for hours of fun and backyard games! The owners were very accommodating and easy to contact throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be back!

Really impressed with this lovely home. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into their guests’ comfort. Big, lovely house, modern and clean. All appliances you’d want (except microwave) and thoughtful touches like handwash, toilet paper and washing powder. Rooms good size. Quality linen. Excellent media room with barn door. Great wifi. Absolutely huge backyard. Could list a million things I loved about this place. We’ll definitely be back.
