About this property

Relaxing house 2 minutes walk to the beach

The perfect house for your casual, relaxed family holiday. Light and airy open plan living, all on one level. French doors open to the deck with a gas barbecue and onto the lawn with an outdoor dining space. A new, well equipped kitchen with full fridge/freezer and family sized oven makes entertaining a breeze.


With a high speed fibre connection you can bring your Apple TV or use the supplied Chrome-cast device. There is also a Sky dish so you can bring your own sky decoder and an HDMI cable. We offer a huge library of DVDs for family entertainment.
The bathroom has a full sized bath and also a shower cubicle. The toilet/WC is in a separate room. The bathroom and laundry have both been newly renovated.

It's an easy 2 minute walk to the beach and only 400 metres to the local gastropub/restaurant and the adjacent supermarket and cafe/pizza restaurant . A 3 minute drive gets you to the shops at Papamoa Plaza or the newly extended Bayfair Mall. There are regular buses to Papamoa, Bayfair, Mount Maunganui and Tauranga. Or pack your bikes for cruisey flat riding. For keen mountain bikers, it's only 45 minutes to the excitement of the Rotorua bike trails.

The large flat back yard has big shade trees and citrus... perfect for the kids to play. A flat sealed driveway has plenty of space for boats and cars.

There is easy driving access with the Sandhurst Drive exit from the expressway nearby.

No parties and no additional guests staying beyond those booked.

This is a more traditional kiwi holiday home. It's very relaxing for a family. We loved being able to walk barefoot to the beach and pick citrus fruit from the trees in the garden. A down to Earth place to relax.

The house is kinda dated (apart from the kitchen), but overall really well maintained and spacious. What was really great was that we didn't encounter a single cockroach for the entire week we spend there :) It's a good value for money and I certainly would bring my family back there next year

We had an amazing stay, everything that we needed was there and Michelle was very helpful with anything that we needed to know. We came over from Australia for a basketball tournament that was close by the cottage and we were able to come back and relax in the garden and on the deck. Will be back next year!

Chill few days in the Bay of Plenty

Great kitchen, cozy comfy lounge and brilliant outdoor space and yard. Unfortunately the beds werent the best and whilst the kitchen was renovated all other rooms were dated especially the bathroom/sĥower. Whilst the location was great, close the beach and within driving distance to shops etc. The accom was on the more expensive side compared to other places we stayed in NZ.

Perfect bach in Papamoa

Our family of 5 (3 kids, 2 adults) had a delightful four nights here. There was plenty of space inside and outside for us to spread out. The beach is a 5 minute walk but we chose to do the 7-minute drive to the surf club so we could swim safely between the flags. The house had everything we needed, including a heat pump, fans in the rooms, an electric frying pan and dishwasher. Communication with the host was great. I heartily recommemd this beach house for a fabulous summer holiday.

Great Christmas Break

This property was like a home away from home.It was comfortable and perfect for the children. The property was fully closed which allowed our children to play outside safely. With a two minute walk to the beach we were able to go everyday. Everything we needed was in the area and either walking distance or a short drive. Grat communication from property manager and easy clear instructions about the property. A recommendation would be to update bathroom, furniture, and living area which would be more reflected in the cost of the stay. Other than that the stay was comfortabe and great over the Christmas break.

This little house is very functional and lovely. It was perfect for our needs for 21 days. I missed having a dryer. when we were there, they were just coming out of winter so hanging to dry clothes took a while. We ended up taking our things to the laundry mat, which was fine. We knew there was no dryer in advance. Updated kitchen and appliances. Communication with host was great.

Well...

we expected more based on the reviews. the garden is nice. otherwise everything is rather dingy. dishwasher dirty on arrival. hair under the sofa & bed. apart from the dead cockroaches. we left early. at least we were reimbursed for the cleaning.
