► SUMMARY

A small lovely house that is built with the same architectural way as the Greek Cyclades islands. Its location has a full view of the Saronic Gulf and its beautiful sunsets. It hosts up to four guests. The main room of this home-boutique contain 3 beds (2 single beds and a double one). There is also a small kitchen and bathroom, 2 outdoor showers, a comfortable dinining table plus a free mini-bar.

► THE SPACE

Fresh sheets and towels are provided and the house is cleaned by professionals before each visit. Hand sanitizers and antibacterial cleaners are available for guest use.
The thing that you will enjoy most is the beach which is at 2 min. walkable distance and usually not crowded in shoulder times. Prevailing sport activities are fishing and surfing. Besides the blue sea you will enjoy the green of the trees at the outside space of the house. A non-seaside cosy place with food, beverages, a public playground, basket and a mini-football court is at 10 min. distance on foot from the house.
* The house is also available for events (weddings, baptisms etc.) or parties, but always upon request and with extra fee. That extra fee is based on the communication with the owner.
* Pets are allowed upon request.

► THE PLACE

Don t miss to visit Cape Sounion where you can feel the energy of the ancient Temple of Poseidon, God of the Sea. The scenic drive along the Athenian Riviera is only about 15 minutes by car or by bus. Very close to Cape Sounion is the port of Lavrion enabling daily excursions to the Kea island.

The only public transportation mean is the bus and its stop is near the house. The bus will take you towards Palea Fokea/Anavyssos (5 min. distance where many shops, seaside fish tavernas and a taxi plaza are located), Vouliagmeni lake (18 kms) and to Athens centre (45 kms). In the opposite direction will take you to Cape Sounion (15 kms).

Sejour à Thymari : un endroit préservé du tourisme de masse

Petite maison propre , bien située à 3 mn de marche de la mer , vue exceptionnelle , commerces à proximité en voiture. Propriétaire très accueillant . Ideal pour vacances en famille loin du tourisme organisé , avec plusieurs sites à visiter dans un rayon de 1/2h à 3/4 d'heure de voiture , et également proche d'Athenes ( 1h de route seulement ). Très jolis couchers de soleil depuis la terrasse , et de nombreuses criques accessibles juste à coté.

What makes this property unique

This house in Thymari is the definition of Aegean style - simple and modern. The simplicity and purity of the style is demonstrated by the materiality of the built structure. The typology of the whitewashed stone courtyard merges with its architecture in a concordant way. The use of natural raw materials is done in the outdoor area, where the built-in seating terraces, combined with minimalist aesthetics, contribute to an enlightened feeling. The Aegean terrace-veranda opens up to the view of the sea, forming a continuation of the interior space. "Inside" and "outside" are unified. The wooden pergola and pines complement the built volume providing shading and a natural feeling. The composition of the white materials has its own vocabulary, whiles the interaction with light allows relationships and contrasts to emerge, attracting the eye. Nature dominates. Small lemon trees, thyme, oleanders, olive trees, pines and schinus, complete the greenery, contributing to the creation of a Mediterranean setting.

The interior of the house is minimalist providing a white ambiance, with a touch of wood. We consciously opt for a certain sobriety of the design and aesthetics. Plenty of sunlight streams in through the large windows with a wooden frame. All the uses of the house co-exist, the floor plan is structured as a single one, forming a direct communication between the living room, the kitchenette, the dining room and the bedroom.
