This former family home converted to two - 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Apartments is ideally suited for friends on a getaway vacation, families with kids, family reunions and business trips for those who prefer a home away from home atmosphere. Not suitable persons with major mobility issues.
Apartments are both fully furnished and equipped.
Apartment #1- 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom: Master Bedroom has queen sized bed with en-suite toilet and bath, and built-in closet. Guest Bedroom has 2 twin beds with attached toilet and bath and built in closet. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans and are air-conditioned. Living room has ceiling fan, 42" Smart TV and free cable and Wi-Fi.
There is a shared detached onsite laundry room with washer and dryer and is provided free of charge for tenants.
Kitchen is well equipped with all crockery dishes, utensils, pots & pans, cutlery, microwave, stove, large fridge, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and blender.
Apartment has 2 smoke detectors & a fire extinguisher.
All linens, towels & beach towels are provided. Iron, ironing board and hair dryer also provided.
Private courtyard to the rear of the complex is shared by both apartments and is adequately furnished for outside dining, lounging or enjoying a cocktail with friends or family under the stars.
The complex is fully enclosed and gated with each apartment having its own covered parking space. There are security grills at all windows, and each apartment has two exterior doors.
Property Overview: 1) 20 minutes' drive from the Grantley Adams International Airport and 15 minutes' drive to the Capital City, Bridgetown. 2) 2 minutes' walk to the beautiful Accra Beach with chairs and umbrellas available for rental from beach vendors. 3) 2 minutes' walk and easy access to the scenic South Coast Boardwalk, great for a casual stroll or a scenic jog. 4) 2 minutes' walk to Lewis Drug Mart (Pharmacy), Bank of Nova Scotia, and Bubba’s Sports Bar and Restaurant. 5)2 minutes' walk to the very popular Shakers Restaurant for a casual and reasonably priced meal and drinks. 6) Next door to Coconut Car Rentals should you decided to venture out to view the beautiful countryside and East Coast of our beautiful island. 7) 5 minutes' walk to Quayside Centre for souvenir shopping, convenience store, pizza, Chinese, coffee shop, ice cream, juice bar and several inexpensive dining options. 8) 5 minutes' drive to the Rockley Golf Course for a cool 9-hole game. Reservations suggested. 9) 5 minutes' drive to the Barbados Museum for a very interesting historical experience and the historic Garrison Savannah for horse racing (seasonal). 10) Medical facilities are a 2–10-minute drive and include family physicians, pediatrician, a small private hospital, and the main public “Queen Elizabeth Hospital.” 11) Barbados has a very good bus service and a “bus stop” is a mere 2 minutes' walk away. 12) The Barbados Yacht Club is an approximate 5–10-minute drive away by bus/car. You can purchase a weekly membership pass which entitles you to the full use of their club’s facilities. They require full payment of the restaurant and bar services to be made by credit card only at the end of your stay. A very convenient option. 13) The Nidḥe Israel Synagogue 10–15-minute drive is the only synagogue in Bridgetown. It is one of the oldest synagogues in the Western hemisphere and a Barbados National Trust property.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as described, walkable to many restaurants and the boardwalk was a plus! Beautiful beach within 2 minutes and a delicious breakfast right across the street. Would absolutely recommend.
Close to beach and other amenities, shops restaurants etc. Nice outdoor space for sitting and dining, good laundry facilities. Good accomodation. All in all a very place to stay.
Beautiful place very close to Rockley beach. The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed. I would recommend this place to anyone and definitely plan on returning with the family.

We just spent 10 days at Shenstone one and had the most absolute wonderful time. The amenities were great. The place was clean easy to get to easy beach access just generally a great place to stay highly recommend JAMES. He is about the best host I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with.
The location of the property was great. It was in walking distance to many restaurants, other shopping and the beach. We did not rent a car and was able to get around the island using the bus system. Having access to a washer and dryer was very convenient. The host responded quickly to any questions that we had. The property was off of a busy road, but for us, this was not a big deal. Negatives about the property include the furniture in the living room was not very comfortable. The furniture reminded us of office furniture in a doctor’s office. Also, the mosquitoes in the apartment and the backyard were out of control. We would recommend treating the yard and keeping the shutters closed. We also had a few birds come in through the shutters. The living area also does not have air conditioning, but a floor fan was provided. The bedrooms are air conditioned and comfortable. Although we did not use the kitchen, it was updated and appeared functional.

As with many properties on the tropical island, certain factors - like occasional traffic, mosquitoes, and our bold bird population - are an inevitable part of the natural environment here.
We do our best to minimize their impact by treating the property regularly (twice this year), providing multiple repellent options, and maintaining the grounds carefully - ensuring there is no standing water for mosquitoes to breed. Still, some aspects are beyond our control, and we appreciate your understanding.

The house was clean and inviting. With three kids, having two bathrooms was perfect. The air conditioners in the bedrooms were key! We loved the front porch. There were plenty of towels and toilet paper and hot water. The walk to the beach is short, we went every day.
The Shenstone Apt No 1 worked out well for our stay for us and our adult son and his wife, with its 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Very good location - close to Rockley beach and great restaurants.
Perfect location to all amenities, no need for car rental. Clean, well maintained and very accommodating. Nice neighborhood. Easy check in. Makes you want to keep coming back.
The apartment was incredibly well situated, minutes from the beach and across the street from a great breakfast/lunch cafe. Everything was impeccably clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Great value overall. Without a doubt, I would choose to stay here again in the future.
We loved our stay here. James had everything you could possibly need to get you started. We had a great time, the apartment was recently renovated and clean along with being in a perfect location that’s kind of in the middle of everything. We will definitely stay here again if possible. I would suggest another split unit for the living and kitchen area
James place was great! Close to beach! He had everything we needed for a great stay. Beach towels and all. Air conditioning was wonderful. Only complaint we had was dogs barking and the frogs at night. But nothing ear plugs couldn’t fix. Great experience

We are so glad that we got to stay at Shenstone. This is our first time to Barbados, so we weren’t sure of the areas, but it turns out this is in the perfect spot. So close to the Rockley Beach, lots of shops and restaurants, plentiful buses to take you anywhere you want to go.We got to know the guests in the other half of the duplex and they and their families have been renting this place for many years. That tells you a lot about the place.If I were to visit Barbados again, I would stay here.The host is quite responsive, but we had no issues.
Wonderful Stay!As a family of four, we truly enjoyed our time at Shenstone! The host was responsive, making check-in and communication a breeze. The space was easy to find, clean, cozy, and nicely decorated. We appreciated the AC in the bedrooms, fans in the main area, two bathrooms, and the convenience of a washer and dryer. The kitchen was stocked with the essential basics, and there were plenty of towels for both bathing and the beach.The location was perfect, a quick walk to the beach, restaurants, and public transportation if needed (we had a car). We walked along the boardwalk most mornings, spent a lot of time at Rockley Beach, and had many meals different places at Quayside and on Hastings Main Rd. Massey's supermarket and Worthing Square Food Court are also within walking distance for those that don't mind a nice stroll. It truly felt like a home away from home. Having stayed at several places in Barbados, we would absolutely return to Shenstone and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

My family and I stayed for a week and it was everything we needed! A charming, cozy home located near the beach, restaurants, supermarkets, gas stations, banks, pharmacies, and any other amenities that we needed.
The neighbours are lovely and so are the birds that come visit in the morning.
We enjoyed many walks getting to know the local shops and were immersed in the Island vibes. Safe and clean home. The available laundry was a life saver and the hosts are friendly, responsive, and non-intrusive.
We believe we found a gem and will definitely be back!

Second time in Barbados and from the get go my husband and I were impressed with this property. Literally brand new apartment a 2 minute walk from Accra beach. It is exactly as the pictures show and more!!! Kent the owner and his wife, were great communicators through out the booking process and met us when we arrived. They took the time to show us how everything worked and were really helpful and friendly. it was obvious that they really hoped we enjoyed our stay. It was great knowing they were not far away if anything did come up, which of course it didn't. The apartment itself had absolutely everything you could possibly want to be comfortable... amazingly outfitted kitchen, tons of cupboards and closets everywhere, nice quiet air conditioner in bedrooms, great wifi, great drinking water, lots of light cause lots of windows, very secure in every way including a safe. The house and beach towels were luxuriously soft (better than I have at home), loved the big backyard where we could hang our clothes on a clothes line or had the option of using the fully equipped laundry room housed in its own little building in the back yard. We spent many an hour on the comfortably furnished front deck enjoying the end of day. While the apartment is on a thruway street, thus somewhat busy, traffic generally dies down by end of day and certainly did not interfere with sleep or enjoyment of the apartment. All in all I can not say enough good things about our experience in this apartment. We stayed 9 days and couldn't have asked for a thing more then was provided. Kent and Janie thought of everything, all the creature comforts. Being so close to the beach lets you easily go back and forth throughout the day. Close to bank, restaurants, drugstores etc..
