This cozy and private abode boasts a dock, furnished deck with a gas grill, 4 boats, and life jackets for everyone. Your friendly Fido can also come on for the trip, and the property is fenced in so the dogs can play safely. Sleeping Bear Dune National Lakeshore Park is only a 20-minute drive west of this cottage, so plan a day trip!

'Currier's Cottage' - ideal for summer getaways filled with fishing, boating, and kayaking with loved ones!

The private deck has a gas grill, table, and chairs for a nice outside meal overlooking the lake. After your fill of barbecue goods, utilize the hammock for a long siesta.

If you're in the mood for tube entertainment, stream favorite shows on the flat-screen Smart TV in the living room. There's also a gas fireplace to use on cooler Michigan evenings.

Wood will be provided for the fire pit, so gather around for a soothing evening under the stars. Choose from one of the 2 bedrooms when it's time to retire.

Other amenities include electric heating, a kitchen with all the cooking basics, a private beach, row boats, kayaks, and a canoe!

Small cottage on quiet clean lake

Owners were very responsive to any need that arose. However, they were aware that loveseat in tiny living room (there was only one other chair, a lazy boy that you couldn't raise the foot on) needed to be replaced and it hadn't been done. Enjoyed the deck and the lake. Good for easy kayaking. Road right behind the cottage was busy on weekends but less so on weekdays. Very accessible to hiking, biking, and Lake Michigan beaches

Family vacation

Great cabin with great location. Had a lot fun spending the week with husband and daughter. It was nice that we could take our lab too. Beach was great! Loved the patio and chairs on the deck. Spent a lot of time there playing games and having much needed family time. Only negative is it would be great if the shower was a little bigger.

Bring your own towels and linens

We have stayed at many VRBO properties, over the years, and this was the first one that did not provide—or at least offer to provide—basic towels and bed linens. So, guests must bring bath and dish towels, as well as linens for the two queen-sized beds. We were disappointed that this was not addressed explicitly in the Amenities section.
