Everything was perfect! It was far exceeded our expectations: warm welcome atmosphere with clean rooms and kitchen with well organized and ready to be used for cooking. Also, it has a nice backyard for relax and campfire.

This home was perfect for us. Our dogs loved being here also. We took amazing walks. The host was very helpful offering suggestions for restaurants that would be open, and things to do in the area. I am so excited to go back when I have more time to stay and explore.

What an amazing home and stay we had! Upon our arrival, we discovered a lovely welcome gift and a truly beautiful place to be. Anything you could possibly need was provided….they’ve thought of everything. The owner was quick to answer our questions, and provided an amazing binder will all kinds of information about the surrounding area. Really a great place to stay, and a nice location to take in all that the area has to offer. We hope to be back again in the future!

our host Matthew was wonderful. We were able to communicate with him all the time. He left us some special items when we arrived, and my family totally enjoyed our stay there.We celebrated a special birthday for my husband and it will be a weekend we won't forget for a long time and we thank our host very much. Its a great location and filled with lots of amenities.

Exceptional! Will definitely stay here again next summer. Such a cool and cozy feel. Host thought of everything! Made us feel welcome, was available any time. Took us 30 minutes to arrive at sleeping bear dunes from property, but it is worth it to stay in this secluded & quiet home. Great beaches nearby property.

We have never felt so welcomed to a stay before. Upon entering we were welcomed to a clean, well lit and pleasant home. A lovely fall scene with soft music was playing on the tv and a bottle of wine on the counter! We love the amenities for our pets too; and even though this is a pet friendly home we couldn't find one sign of previous fur guests. Michael was a very gracious, kind, and helpful host.....and timely with his communication. I felt like we were VIPs the entire time. Highly recommend!

Our family of 3 adult children and two dogs enjoyed this spacious, super clean, cozy, quiet and comfortable home away from home! We loved the location. We had the best time at the Sugar Chalet. It was in a very quiet neighborhood and was very warm and inviting. It was super clean and very comfortable. The proximity to so many great towns, restaurants, beaches and hiking trails makes ot a perfect place to stay. Matthew was very responsive when we had questions, gave us lots of suggestions on places to go for our stay, and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back!

This is a great place! If you need a hub for up north activities, this is your place. The location provides a nice place for your down time after a busy day. The host was great, very accommodating. We would stay here in again without question.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Chalet. The home is very comfortable and it was close to family that lives nearby. While the reason for our stay was very sad, our niece's celebration of life service, it helped to have a peaceful, quiet and relaxing place to retreat to. We will definitely look into staying here again.

We had such a wonderful stay! The house was incredibly clean and exactly as described. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish, which made everything very easy. The location was perfect for our girls trip—close to everything but still peaceful and relaxing. The home had three spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms, which gave everyone plenty of space. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the coffee bar was such a fun bonus in the mornings. We would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful Stay!

We stay at this property while visiting the Sleeping Bear Dunes. It was a wonderful location. The house was really well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. The owners really have thought of a lot of really thoughtful touches to make it such an great place to stay.
