Laurel Park

It’s all about location! This residence is an easy walk to the bay /O’Leary’s tiki bar, Main Street and the little shops on Orange Avenue. Located in the lovely old neighborhood of Laurel Park. The residence itself was very roomy.

Deceptive! Stay somewhere else!

The furnishings of this unit were very deceiving from the profile pictures and substandard. The living room furniture included two futons and one of them was lopsided. The property manager accused me of breaking a futon which is untrue. That didn't stop him from filing a claim For an that exceeded the value. The beds were very uncomfortable and required me to purchase mattress toppers in order to make sleep bearable. The window treatments are very inexpensive and did not block out the very bright street lights and the motion sensored flood light which would turn on throughout the night when stray animals walked by. I did not have one good night's sleep the entire stay!! The kitchen was poorly stocked with very cheap flatware and limited utensils. The street is very loud and noisy. Do your self a favor and stay somewhere else!!

Underwhelmed

Kitchen has up to date appliances, but kitchen table is bistro height and suitable for only two people. Kitchen stools have no backs. The coffee maker does not turn off automatically. The microwave is small. Coffee and filters were there. There is a laundry room with an iron and ironing board, which I appreciated . The dryer has one temperature, hot, and does not turn off automativally. The washer worked perfectly. Only one bedroom has a dresser for clothes storage and one drawer did not open.The mattresses were comfortable. The pictures of the living room on the VRBO website were not what we encountered. One couch with comfortable appearing cushions and two straight back chairs were located beside a small table. A rather large glass top table was also shown. We found two black faux leather futons, no chairs in the living room or either of the two bedrooms. The glass top table was present. The futons are low and uncomfortable. Because I have a disability, we rented a very nice recliner for our month’s stay. The location and surrounding homes in the historic center are lovely, and it is possible to walk to the downtown. Osprey Road is heavily traveled throughout the day. It is very noisy late at night and early in the morning.

Great neighborhood

This apartment is in a great neighborhood, within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. It was very clean and the manager met us at check-in and was very friendly. Only two minor concerns - the garage in the listing was "off limits" and the seating in the living room and kitchen were quite uncomfortable. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was updated, however, so it met our needs for a one week stay.
