About this property

An Intimate Experience 1 Bedroom

Tucked past the Tower villa at the end of our upper road is the Guava Villa.

When, you are in a spacious living area with large kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances including electric cooktop and oven, French door fridge with deep drawer freezer, as well as dishwasher for quick clean ups. The deep sink has a garbage disposal. Coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, microwave, toaster, juicer and other miscellaneous small kitchen appliances allow you to have all the conveniences of home. 

A comfortable sofa and coffee table highlight the living room as well as a smart TV that can allow you to Netflix binge after a day at the beach. All televisions have access to Dish TV. The living area is rounded out with a dining room table for four to host gourmet meals or card games, visit our office for a selection of games. Through the living areas floor to ceiling windows, you will find a large balcony with stunning views of Coral Bay and the rest of the East End of St. John, as well as the British Virgin Islands and the beautiful Caribbean Sea. 

Outdoor living room and dining area make it possible to spend each waking hour outdoors, comfortably. Back inside the end of the living area is the bedroom with a smart TV, king sized bed, closet and full bathroom with shower.

The bathroom has recessed lighting for that late-night bathroom run without waking the whole house with bright lights as well as a beautiful tile and glass shower stall. Every indoor space has central air and fans for your comfort. Additionally, each home has a washer and dryer. Outside the front door is an outdoor shower, grill for your fresh catch and chairs and cooler (cold beers not included) to make your beach trip as easy as possible.

Couldn’t have asked for a cooler spot to stay while on our honeymoon and first time to the island. Amazing views. Tom and Alex were incredible host. They are there to help with anything you need. Definitely making a return trip.

Spectacular St John Villa

Tom and the staff at Calichi made us feel like we were home when we arrived at the Villa perched high above Coral Bay in St John. The property is brand new and very well equipped with a heated pool, hot tub, fire pit and plenty of seating area. All the units are brand new with the latest appliances. We will be back and I would highly recommend Tom and Calichi as your one stop shop for a Villa and charter boat adventures too! We took advantage of access to the 53ft Sunseeker for a day trip over to the BVI’s and like everything else it was an absolute top shelf experience.

Unbelievable Experience

This property is incredible - still pinching myself over the views. Our stay in the Guava Villa was everything we could have wanted - clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and thoughtful touches everywhere. Great location on the Coral Bay side and we were able to access restaurants and beaches within minutes in our Jeep. The pool/hot tub area is gorgeous during the day and at night we loved sitting out there and gazing at the stars and hillside lights. Hope to return someday!

Everything about Calichi was absolutely amazing! The views are breathtaking. The place was clean and tidy, except it smelled like cigarette smoke in there. Not sure why since no smoking is allowed but anyway, it didn’t bother us too much. Parker & Mackenzie were very responsive and kind! 100% would go back!! The drive to Cruz Bay was not bad at all!

On top of the world

Pro: beyond amazing view, awesome , incredible pool area w/both heated pool and Jacuzzi, so beautiful! Quiet. Great, updated rooms w/ good kitchen equipment. Driver to meet us which helped with driving. Con: crazy, steep, curvy drive to go anywhere, winds which kept us off of deck, missing soft soap, shampoo, dressers, mirror outside of bedroom. Loved the view but only go if you are ok with the driving

The actual accommodations exceeded the pictures!

We enjoyed being on the quieter side of the island. Local restaurants were minutes away. Maho Bay was barely a 15 minute drive where snorkeling with turtles was a true highlight. I would return to this location without hesitation.

Calichi’s 1.67 acres is approximately 1190 feet above the Caribbean Sea, making it the highest residence on St. John. Actually, only the communications tower on Bordeaux Mountain is taller, and it’s only by some 85 feet. ResidencesOur property is made up of 6 villas, an immense central pool & hot tub area all accessed by an upper and lower driveway as well as a stairwell from each villa.
