Beautiful views

Clean, well kept house with excellent location overlooking the beach. Amenities were well kept and modern and the house provided great beach supplies such as chairs, boogie boards and skim boards.

Breathtaking views

The rental was amazing and the location was perfect. Our family will definitely stay here again. The only issue we found was that the beach toys and chairs were not present at the rental as advertised so we didn’t bring our own and had to purchase while on vacation. I would encourage families to bring their “must have” items with them.

Best time ever....

This was our first time in the Surf City/Topsail area and we were overjoyed at these accommodations offered at Blue View. My family had one of our the best times ever at this oceanfront Townhome!!!! During our stay the town installed a new public ramp; which gives you direct access to the beach directly in front of the house. The owner provided frequent restoration updates and was very helpful with things to do and places to go in the area!

Clean and Close!!

We are a family of 5 & recently spent a week in Summer Winds and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The unit was clean and well stocked with anything we could have thought of. The beds slept well enough and the showers had decent water pressure. However, the best thing about this property is the close proximity to the beach & the view!! I would definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful views and a great home

The house was exactly as described from the first moment we stepped in the door I knew it would be difficult to find a better place on the island. The views are wonderful inside and out. The home was well maintained and comfortable. Other than a quick stop at the store for food everything else we needed was already there. No one wanted to leave and there were definitely a few tears. We could not have been happier with this rental and will definitely be back.

The view is everything

This place is nice and comfortable but let’s get real...the view is why we all want to book it right? And let me tell you it does not disappoint. I could sit on one of the porches forever. Kitchen is fully stocked, beds are comfy, lots of room to spread out (I have teenagers and that’s important to them). The only downside is thet I don’t get to live there forever.

Wonderful beach vacation

This is a great place just steps from the beach. The floor plan is open and airy and the place is well stocked with beach equipment - beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas and beach toys for the kids. The kitchen was also well stocked with nice pots and pans, 3 different types of coffee maker, toaster, blender and electric hot water kettle. We had all the equipment necessary to cook in. The king and queen beds were very comfortable. The only complaint was regarding the twin beds. My daughter and her boyfriend found them to be very uncomfortable. That’s the only reason I gave 4 vs 5 stars. Overall, very nice, well taken care of place. You won’t be disappointed.

Thanks Bernie, I'm glad you loved the home as much as we do! It really is a dreamy place to stay and easier than ever to get to the beach since the dune stairs have been replaced with a ramp. The twin beds are high-end and pretty new but we will definitely check on them. Others have reported that they are very comfortable. Often it does come down to personal preference with mattresses.

Fantastic Blue View

Third time staying at this property and it was exceptional as always. The home is well furnished, clean and very comfortable. The location is so easy to access the beach. We would highly recommend this property!!

We absolutely loved our stay. Diane is so helpful and pleasant.

The place has a perfect location for beach access and view of the ocean and beach. Diane was so helpful when we had to reschedule due to COVID-19 last year. The kids and grandkids loved it!

Wonderful family vacation

We truly enjoyed our family vacation at The Blue View in Surf City. We had our grown children, their spouses and our 4 grandkids with us! The place was terrific and was spacious enough for us all. The beds were comfortable and the en-suite bathrooms made for privacy. The short walk to the beach was perfect. We even got to witness a 17 sea turtle release while there and it was done at the public access right by the townhome. The views were fantastic. The outdoor shower was a great feature. We would love to go back again!

Great place to stay!

This was a family vacation with our young men their wives and our two oldest son's daughters. We all really enjoyed this place! We loved how clean the place was, the great view of the ocean, the closeness of the ocean and the size of the rooms. We were already talking about coming back again because we enjoyed it so much. The communication with the owner was great and she made sure everything was taken care of. The office that I picked the keys up from was great also. If I had any issues they were on it without a problem. I have no complaints about this beautiful place because we totally enjoyed it and dreaded leaving.

Christmas at Blue View !

We stayed at this property for three nights during Christmas this year.We really enjoyed our stay,the ocean view was amazing!The property was very nice, clean,and was nicely furnished.They do not provide bed sheets or towels,so you will need to bring your own , or they will rent them to you.

Great location!

Blue View was very convenient to the beach and had a wonderful ocean view. The floor plan was also well spread out and everyone had their own space. Only negative was that the check in time was listed as 3:30 but when we got to the property management office we were told check in was at 4:00, no biggie.

Gorgeous home with a gorgeous view!!

Absolutely beautiful!! This was our first time staying in a townhome (opposed to a condo). We LOVED how easy and convenient it was getting down to the beach. This home is in the perfect location, super close to a public access ramp which was so much easier than having a bunch of steps. We were worried about the public access making the beach crowded, but it wasn’t a problem at all. We also loved having the outdoor shower. It was so nice (and relaxing) to be able to get all of the sand off before entering the unit! We would definitely recommend this home!!

Great Getaway

Great property and clean with beautiful ocean views! My only suggestion is update the property manager address listing in the web site and instructions. We arrived to find the building vacant with a new address posted on the window.

Had great communication with the owner from the very beginning. Beautiful property with stunning views of the ocean. A Vacation to Remember

We had the unfortunate experience of being in Topsail when the country went into lockdown due to the Coronavirus. Even though the beaches and restaurants closed, we were able to enjoy "inside" family time in this beautiful home with a gorgeous view of the ocean for a few days. We hope to return sometime soon to enjoy all the great things Topsail/Surf City have to offer.
