Fully air-conditioned 2 bedroom Holiday Cottage just a short walk to a lovely sandy beach and inlet. Large fully fenced back garden with a private patio to sit and watch the kids play and have a cold drink or your morning cuppa. Clean and fully equipped kitchen with gas cooktop, wall oven, microwave, full sized refrigerator, crockery and cutlery, saucepans and frying pans as well as all utensils required for a long or short stay. 6 seater dining table, comfortable lounges, wall mounted television in lounge and main bedroom. Queen bed in main bedroom plus two single beds in second bedroom. Shower, towel rails and vanity in bathroom. Private toilet off the laundry. Front load washing machine and large laundry tub. Fully lockable Double Garage with remote control to one RAD and manual lift/lock to other for easy access and vehicle security.

Best place we have stayed in on this 8 week trip

Very private, beautifully presented, had everything we needed. The house was much bigger than we expected, private area outside at the front and back. Totally ffenced safe big garden for Ollie to play. Close enough to lots of places and always a pleasure to return in the evening. Thanks,

Handy location & spacious

Stayed here for two nights for turtle viewing at Mon Repos. Conveniently located only 16 mins from centre. The house is spacious & comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Air Conditioners worked well. We were travelling with a small dog & this place was perfect with a huge well fenced backyard & we we were allowed to have our small dog inside. All communication with Lorraine was clear & all replies were prompt. As promised Lorraine had gone out of her way to leave us some very nice treats to welcome us to her home. Wifi was available with a download speed of around 22mb/s. We really enjoyed our stay & hope to return again.

Lorraine went above & beyond to accommodate our requests. The home is clean, comfortable and suited our family with our furbaby for the stay. Would recommend the place, which is in walking distance to the bakery & water views.

Wonderful little cottage

Lorraine was easy to deal with during our booking. When we walked into the cottage my first impression was wow this place is so nicely decorated. The bed and lounge were very comfortable, (most places we have stayed are not). Top marks for Lorraine for leaving all the goodies for us. My husband was very impressed with all the linen to the extent of wanting to buy some towels and sheets like the ones supplied in the cottage. We had a lovely stay here! Such a clean and neat house with high quality furniture and appliances. Everything we needed was there plus more! We really appreciated the softdrinks and chocolates left for us in the fridge, among all the other little surprises around the house. The yard was spacious and neatly kept, a joy to spend our afternoons outside; and extra peace of mind being able to store my car in the automatic garage. We will be staying here again.

The first thing we noticed when we walked in the door was how clean the cottage was. Lorraine, the owner, has thought of everything to ensure a comfortable stay. From ease of check in (key safely stored in a key lock box) to fully stocked kitchen cupboards & some treats in the fridge - we couldn't fault our stay. While we didn't meet Lorraine, she was friendly and her communication was excellent. Our dog really enjoyed the big shady backyard & we really appreciated being able to have her inside with us. We hope to stay again one day.

Mature married couple offering guests a clean and comfortable 'home away from home' modern cottage with a comfortably relaxed and friendly feel. Lorraine cleans the house and Warren maintains the gardens and lawns. We are a semi retired couple raising our 11 year old grandson. Proud to provide a lovely place for visitors to stay when visiting our beautiful and historic area.

Why they chose this property

This property is in Innes Park, is well maintained, clean and convenient to all areas around Bundaberg and along the coastal rim. We also live in Innes Park and love it because the area is quiet, friendly and close to Bundaberg which is a major Queensland city steeped in history and known world wide for it's excellent rum and rum products. There are many small coastal towns in the area boasting pretty beaches and Mon Repos turtle sanctuary which is a 10 minute drive away. The turtle season runs from October to March each year with many turtles returning to lay their eggs. Hatchlings start to emerge around February. The Bundaberg Marina is a 15 minute drive and it is there that you can catch the ferry to beautiful Lady Musgrave Island.

What makes this property unique

Complimentary treats are offered in the refrigerator as well as tea coffee and biscuits. Some personal as well as house cleaning products are supplied for a short stay. Also pet friendly with a large secure back yard. (A $35 Pet Fee applies. No bowls or beds for your furry loved ones are supplied so please byo). Plenty of room for the kids to play.
