This place has such an amazing view of Lake Tahoe. The property was nice and cleaned. No a/c but there was some fans in the closet that we used during the day when it got pretty warm outside. Had to wipe down all the patio furniture due to so much pollen dust everywhere. Everything else was fine.

Great location but needs some refresh
The location and the overall community the unit is located in is terrific- really nice pool and right on the water. The unit itself is a little worn and lacking in some basics that I have gotten used to such as a good coffee maker, decent pots and pans and little things like olive oil, sugar, etc. at similar types of rentals. If it got a little refresh, it’d be a solid 5 based on the other great qualities.

Hi Joe, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:
We are glad you chose our home and we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay. We do have a planned and scheduled refresh of the home coming up. We provide plenty of cookware and a fully functional coffee maker that is often replaced due to other guests' misuse however, the listing does not state that we provide any food items, but we are sorry if this caught you off guard. We encourage guests to thoroughly review the listing before booking, to ensure they find the perfect vacation home for their needs.
We do all we can to make our homes the best possible stays, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. Thank you for your feedback!

Long list of major inconveniences really affected our trip:(
Smoke backs up into unit when fire is lit. Neighbors came over twice worried about sparks. Not a maintained fireplace.
VERY little hot water, never had a completely warm shower in 5 days!
One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom!!? Yikes!
No matches or working lighter to light the fire.
TV- channel change and volume work every so often...even after buying new batteries for all 3 remotes.
I’ve never written a review before, but this was just too much. Multiple trips to the store to try to remedy these situations.
The owner is nice and responsive, but unwilling to take responsibility for the issues in the unit and full of excuses. And, I’m sorry, but it was not clean. Yuck.
This place does have a GREAT view:)

Sunny, we're sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay at this home. The homeowner was surprised to receive your feedback as they are known for providing exceptional experiences for all of their guests. It's our understanding that upon hearing of your concerns, the owner had their maintenance individual immediately service the property. Additionally, the owner has not received previous complaints regarding the hot water or issues with the television remote. The owner has also addressed your issues with the cleaning crew, and we're confident that this was an isolated incident that will not recur for future travelers. They are working diligently to make updates to the home and as is evidenced by the many great reviews, this owner is known for going above and beyond for their guests and we feel confident future guests will have delightful stays. Best, the Evolve Team

Great views and comfy place
We loved the location on the northwest part of Lake Tahoe. Very close to modern conveniences but quiet and private at the same time. We loved the view, but were bummed to be stuck inside by the late May snowstorm. Gray days and little visibility put a damper on our trip. Temps were too low to be outside on the deck but too late in the season for skiing (and we had none of our ski stuff with us anyway, because we expected more spring hiking than skiing). We had some funky television issues (closed captioning that wouldn't shut off, remotes that don't work well) and there is not much channel variety if you do find yourself stuck inside for three days. There are plenty of games to bide your time and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, etc. It's clear that this is someone's vacation home, which we loved. Made it much more homey and functional. We will return to Tahoe, but we don't recommend going until mid-June if you want warm temps and pretty, clear views.
Great property, a little unhandy to have no bathroom on main floor for older people with stairs. Otherwise, wonderful place and views! The bottom floor had orange spiders so might want to spray!
The view from all 3 balconies was fantastic. The house was nice and clean. We also enjoyed a little peer and a nature trail located nearby on the community property.
