We really enjoyed our stay, and would come back. Very easy walk to the beach, and to a few eateries (more breakfast grab-no-go style), close to a playground, an arcade, and a short drive to other conveniences/fun like grocery store, and brewery (Hidden Cove).
Something I missed among the hustle and bustle of life, work, and researching to book a vacation was the one pic (currently 20 of 23) that makes it obvious that this is a 2nd floor unit. At the time of our trip, we had a not quite 4 y/o, and a 6 y/o. The owner Kerry received a noise complaint for the little one jumping off furniture. Also, the oldest threw some paper airplane(s) off the balcony that landed on cars, and was probably loud running down the stairs (early am) to retrieve them. Some other guest must have also tossed water balloons (we didn't have any) off the balcony which was falsely associated with our children. Kerry was great in the conversation, being empathetic to our situation as parents, while being sure to underscore the concerns of the guests below. Their complaints were legitimate, and I do not fault them. However, this should be considered if you have a young family, and are thinking about this unit. No matter how hard you try, you can't keep rambunctious young kids in check all the time. After the conversation, we felt like we were walking on egg shells the rest of the time, and regularly shushing our kids...making for a less than relaxing remainder of our stay. Not the owner's fault, but 2nd floor location should be considered before you book. Perhaps note that in the description?
Within the next day or so after the above, someone vomited fairly close to the shared stairs that we had to walk down to get anywhere. I let Kerry know, and the property management team took care of it quickly.
Minor nitpicks were that I had to prod the owner to ask about key info. in the early afternoon after I was advised it would be provided in the morning. The listing also notes coin-op laundry...but unless we missed it, we could not find it anywhere on the property grounds.
One thing that was a little confusing when we first arrived was that the unit's parking spot is out of sequential order with all the others. That's actually a good thing for your stay since that places it right near your unit.
The place was a great base for our beach adventures, and stay in the area. Cozy, some might say tight, but a nice size for us.
