Villa Del Sol is a charming villa situated in the peaceful seaside community of Marisule which is within a 10 minute drive from the main touristic community of Rodney Bay. It is within 15-20 minutes’ drive from the George F.L. Charles Airport (SLU) in Castries and within an hour and 15 minutes’ drive from the Hewannora Airport (UVF) located in the south of the island.
The villa consists of 4 bedrooms and 3 ½ bathrooms as well as in-house garage parking. With 270° degree ocean views of Choc Bay and all the way to the City of Castries every room boasts its own beautiful sea view, where you can experience the most awe-inspiring sunsets.
The property boasts a 25 foot pool with in-pool lighting for night time swimming and a gazebo with sitting for six as well as a barbeque grill for outdoing dining. Lounge chairs located on the 1,800 square foot pool deck will ensure you achieve that perfect suntan whilst admiring the ocean view.
The villa is located in a secluded community offering priceless privacy. Calabash Cove Resort and Spa – a four star resort - is located virtually next door to the resort where you can enjoy fine dining at its best.
Should you wish to spice up your evening after a peaceful and leisurely day, you can take a 10 minute drive to the Rodney Bay community where you can choose from an array of restaurants and hot spots for some lovely evening entertainment including the world renowned Gros Islet Friday Night Jump Up where you can dance the night away.
The in-house housekeeper will ensure that your vacation will be spent doing the things you love and making the most of your time on the island. To offer an even more pampered experience we can arrange for Grocery Shopping, In-house cooking and Private Spa Sessions at your request.

Rodney bay beauty

The house we originally rented wasn’t available last minute so Wally switched our reservation to another house that he told us was even better than the original. It was perfect for us because the new house was very close to Rodney bay where we landed with our boat and it was gorgeous. So I can’t say a lot for the original vrbo but I would say Wally can be trusted to ensure a nice stay.

Amazing views. Wonderful owner and staff.

Villa de Sol was everything the pictures showed and more. The owner Mr Wally was great and on top of things. He ensured everything was comfortable enough for our stay. From the airport I. Trinidad to St Lucia he made things work. When we got there his generosity n professionalism didn't stop. I give Villa de Sol five stars. Would recommend any and everyone to stay there. Its home away from home. Kentra was also there to tell us how we can get around the island. Thanks for everything guys. Till we travel to St. Lucia again. The Harrigin's.

Loved Our Visit

We have nothing but wonderful memories staying at this beautiful villa with incredible views!!! The house was located in a great location with a beautiful view to wake up to and watch the amazing sunset, great amenities and space for large families, a pool perfect for the kids and a quick walk to a small private beach just down the road. We took advantage of it all and loved that we could wake up, play in the pool, then walk 5 minutes to the beach. What the pictures can't show you is the WONDERFUL experience you will get with our beautiful and kind hostess Kentra. We absolutely LOVED Kentra who was so hospitable, friendly, knowledgeable and ensured that our needs were met. After spending time with her, she felt like she was part of the family. Kentra's cooking was one of the highlights of our visit and she ensured that we experienced the best of St. Lucia and the wonderful food. You'll definitely enjoy your stay at this home but after meeting Kentra, you'll absolutely LOVE your stay and feel like you met a life long friend. You can rent any house, but renting a house that feels like a home where you're welcomed and that feels like family, is priceless. We absolutely recommend staying at this home! Thank you for everything Kentra! We miss you!

Wonderful Stay

My family and I had a wonderful time at Villa Del Sol. The villa was comfortable and the pool was a hit with the kids. The location really was central and we were able to get to beaches and restaurants quickly. The services offered by Maria and Instacomfort helped make our stay memorable. St. Lucia definitely is beautiful and we truly had a wonderful holiday.

Charming Villa But Needs Repair

The villa is spacious and comfortably furnished providing spectacular views in a peaceful and secluded setting. However we did not have hot water after the first day of our stay. After taking cold showers on the second morning, we phoned the manager. He came to the villa later that morning, checked pipes, made some adjustments and got the hot water flowing but it didn’t last. When we returned from a day of exploring the island, there was no hot water. The manager was not able to correct the problem during our nine day stay.

Perfect

Beautiful home. Wally was a great host. We needed a few things in the kitchen that either needed to be replaced or were missing. When we let Wally know he accommodated our request immediately. St Lucia is a wonderful tropical location with perfect weather every day. Lots of restaurants to choose from which serve very tasty meals. We found Floyd who was our driver for the two weeks we were there and he helped us get whatever we needed and also suggested places to eat drink and be merry. The home itself is large enough for a larger group and there's many places you could go for some quiet time. Everyday was spent around the pool and evenings as well. Loved it.

Absolute perfection

We returned home from St lucia on Tuesday, what a holiday . We stayed at the Villa Del Sol it is the most beautiful house its stunning it has everything you need for your stay it's very spacious, the pictures dont really do it justice. We fell in love with the place on entering the door, My husband and I were joined by a couple of friend to return to the island to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary, we got married on the island 25 years ago at The Green Parrot Hotel which sadly isn't there anymore , We were greeted by the housekeeper Nicole who showed us around the house and welcomed us. The views are spectacular it is very tranquil up there to relax and enjoy your stay, we spent a lot of time just relaxing at he villa although we did hire a car in the second week and tour round to see the island. Calabash cove is just a 5 minute walk over the hill where we paid $25US to spend the day there the infinity pool was amazing as was the beach and all the amenities which are included you do have for pay for food and drink but it's well worth a visit. . We actually went there in our anniversary for a meal The housekeepers came in every few days to clean up and do the towel and bedding change , they lovely girls Nicole and Cheryl . Pamphile called on us to make sure everything was good for us he is a lovely guy and it was good to know he was on the end of the phone if we had a problem although we didn't, it was perfect . The fridge was stocked with essentials for us .to use as we arrived to put us on. There was a cake and a bottle of wine for us to celebrate our anniversary which was a lovely gesture . We cannot recommend th his place enough we are well traveled an have stayed in some lovely accommodation this definitely being one of the best . If we ever decide to revisit this eill.be the place for us 100% .

It Doesn't Get Better Than This!

This will sound like a paid advert because the experience was superb! The owner was down to earth and a real people person. He even supplied us with water and a few drinks upon arrival. One of the A/Cs weren't blowing cold air and in an instant he brought a professional to fix the problem and it was that. The pictures do not do this villa justice, the place is BEAUTIFUL. The rooms are spacious and the area is quite breezy. We came for a birthday weekend and do not regret one moment, and will be back very very soon. The pool is large and the deck area is so relaxing . We were reluctant to leave. Small things such as the speed of the wifi and provision of television was nothing less than sufficient for any guests purposes. 10/10 can't wait to revisit

Great vacation villa

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Del Sol. The view from the pool deck is mesmerizing - sea and tropical plants all around, lights glittering on the hillsides at night. And the villa is comfortable and accommodating with plenty of room for a large group. Best of all is Kentra, the housekeeper/hostess who is available to fill guests in on where to go in St. Lucia. She's a great cook too. For real St. Lucian cuisine, arrange for her to prepare a meal. We loved the creole fish, fish cakes and local vegetables. The small but lovely beach at Calabash Cove is only a five minute walk away.

A home away from home

We were 8 adults and 2 kids spending two weeks over Christmas in St Lucia. The villa was perfect for us in terms of size, location, and amenities. The pictures accurately show what the villa looks like. The 5 bedrooms were all a good size and allowed everyone their privacy. There were also sufficient bathrooms and dinning/living room space for all of us. The view, and the sunsets (when it wasn't cloudy) were gorgeous. And the villa is located on the perfect spot to enjoy new year's eve (also known as old year's night in St Lucia) fireworks from every direction from several neighbouring resorts. Given that the villa is located some distance above sea level there were nearly no mosquitoes to pester us and a nice breeze to keep us cool. When we arrived on our first night, we were greeted by Kentra, the housekeeper and Mr. Wally, the owner, and Kentra's delicious Lucia home cooking. Even to this date, my husband raves about her delicious bean stew. During our time there, she whipped up several feasts with dishes including creole fish, goat stew, "green fig" salad, fish cakes, chicken curry, roti, pumpkin soup and many more. She also introduced us to cocoa tea and made several fresh fruit juices, which mixed very well with the local rum. Suffice to say we all gained a few pounds while on vacation. Kentra comes every second day to clean and kept the place quite tidy. The gardener and pool maintenance employee came a few times to take care of the premises. Our host Mr. Wally was absolutely a delight and very attentive. We had been corresponding for over a year before we eventually went to St Lucia. During this time he answered all our questions and made arrangements to address any concerns we had. When the AC wasn’t working in one bedroom on the first day he ensured to have a repairman come by the very next day and it was fixed. And while we were there he responded right away if we needed something or we wanted information. He even came with us to the Friday Night Jump Up Street Party in Gros Islet to take us to his favourite Fish Fry stand and also bought us some lovely St Lucian souvenirs. The only small complaint was that the phone was not functioning during our stay and the wifi was intermittent. But honestly who needs the internet when you are right next to the beautiful Caribbean sea. All in all, this was the perfect villa for our large family get away and would highly recommend the villa to anyone looking to have a private family vacation in St Lucia.

Amazing family vacation!

Upon our arrival at the villa, we were graciously greeted by the lovely Kentra and friendly Pamphile. Our stay at the villa accommodated 2 families. The kids and adults enjoyed the pool on a daily basis, even in the rain! The villa is clean and adequately equipped to cook meals. The view is spectacular! The bedrooms are air conditioned which made our sleepy time much more comfortable. Kentra was very helpful with local activities and sightseeing information.

Fantastic Place

I stayed at the villa with family for a week and absolutely loved the place and the scenery! The house was well kept and clean. The weather was perfect and we loved the pool area. We were able to access the island sights by bus, taxi, or walking. The owner was very considerate and helpful and the maid was also very helpful to us. Our experience was relaxing as we prefer the privacy of a home to resorts. We were with 2 other couples and we had our own space as well as spaces to share.

Awesome place

We stayed with 3 couples and found the villa perfect for all with ample sitting areas plus a covered table near the pool. We were in awe of the views and enjoyed the pool. The property was well kept and the house was very clean and neat. The maid was very helpful. We could walk to the bus stop and explore the island. Since we had family close by the location was fantastic for our needs. Thanks for a fabulous week in an ideal setting.

Amazing in every way!

We stayed as 3 couples for a week without a rental car– in a nutshell, this place was perfect for our needs and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay knowing that it’s not right in the middle of the action. The pictures accurately show what the villa looks like. Wifi was great but didn’t work outside by the pool and the reception was sometimes spotty, but hey you’re not in paradise for wifi! The pool area was amazing – comfortable loungers, nice clean pool and a great covered seating area – great for sheltering from the rain showers. We really liked the 3 decks – there was always a space to sit outside quietly by yourself or with others. Pamphile Wally was the greatest villa owner. He responded to all of my emails quickly and would call us on the phone or pop by to see how we’re doing. The AC wasn’t working in one bedroom on the first day. Within hours, he had a repair guy over and it was fixed. Anytime we needed something, we could get in touch and he would help us out. One evening we struggled to find a decent taxi fare to go to the Jump up party – a quick email and Mr. Wally had sorted us out a great reliable taxi. He also popped by with gifts of local treats. He was definitely the most attentive owner and always ready to check in and answer a question. The villa also came with a housekeeper Kentra. She was wonderful in every way. She was always willing to chat with us, help us out with anything we may need and keep our villa nice and clean. Kentra is definitely an asset to the villa and always made us feel welcome. The villa is about 1.5 km from the main road. But, it’s a steep and hilly climb – no worries for us as we were all fit and healthy and enjoyed the trek. However, if you have mobility problems or baby strollers, it would be a tough walk! At the end of the road is a small greengrocer and the bus stops are right on the main road at the end of the street. The buses run frequently and for a few dollars you are in Rodney Bay or Castries quick, cheap and easy. The supermarket is just on the main road too and has most things you need – water, beer, milk, eggs etc. Just beware that it’s a hard walk back with lots of heavy things to carry! The villa is a 2 minute walk from Calabash Cove resort and you can use their beach for free. Overall, the villa exceeded my expectations! I liked the location, the amenities, and the welcoming attitude of the owner. I would go back!

Breathing Views

I stayed at this beautiful Villa with our family and another family (8 people total) from the US. The house is really accommodating for larger groups with large bedrooms, multiple sitting areas, and large kitchen. The best part of the house is the views...from sunrise to sunset there are the most incredible views from the two house levels. When we were at the villa, we spent all of our time out by the pool because the climate was great (72-84F) all day. The owner was wonderful in offering information about the island and providing anything we needed. Since it is a house, you will need a car to get around. We rented one from the airport and used it to explore North and South ends of the Island. We certainly hope to be back!

most amazing trip!!

Our accommodations were spectacular. Our host and hostess were the best weve ever had and so accommodating,!! We traveled from the US and with it being our first time out of country, we were a bit nervous. Our host went out of his way to be helpful and arrange for our rental car and have the fridge stocked for our arrval? The villa is beautiful and then folks who kept things up with housekeeping and pool maintenance and a necessary plumbing repair were spot on and wonderful. We will definitely go back and this will be outngo to place to stay! Thank you so muchnfor everything!!!

What an amazing feeling….relaxation…tranquility….truly a comfortable experience ….very secure…pleasant view of the marisule beach to wake up to….birds chirping…fresh sea breeze. I love the master bedroom patio overlooking the sea the most….my kids couldn't stay away from the pool….truly a beautiful get away. Could accommodate four couples with ease…the house is extremely clean, well placed, fresh feeling…truly comfortable living…..my next vacation in St.Lucia is definitely at Villa Del Sol!!!!
