A fantastic location on the Central Bench of Boise. Several parks, two grocery stores, downtown, and much more is all less than 10 minutes by car.
Built in 1948 it is quite old, but has an updated bathroom and kitchen. Original hardwood flooring that creeks with character and a nice large and peaceful backyard. Laundry and free parking on the premises.

Cleanliness of the inside of the house was great. However, there were some things to address. Backyard hadn’t been mowed in weeks and our dog did not want to walk out there. Somebody before us didn’t pick up after their dog. TV was difficult to navigate. Shower backed up the 5 days we were there and the sink drain didn’t work when I shaved so I had to reach into the cabinet to manually move it to drain sink after shaving. We had friends stay there a few years ago and said they dealt with the shower drain issue as well. I hate to give these ratings, but I want to give an honest review. Positives, as I said. Very clean inside and just short of a 15 minute drive to BSU. Great Italian food down the street at Luciano’s.
The cozy blue farmhouse was a quaint, convenient house on a quiet street that was very conveniently located. It was very easy to access and had everything we needed for a short trip to Boise.
We stayed in the cozy blue farmhouse while dropping our daughter off at BSU. It was so great being able to bring our dog to say goodbye. We all really appreciated the backyard and patio furniture for our last hangouts. The kitchen is well stocked and helpfully labeled. The check out process was super simple. The street was quiet and felt safe enough to leave our truck loaded overnight.
This house was close enough to Boise State that it was very convenient. Quiet area. We weren’t at the house other than to sleep, but it was a great base camp.
Overall a nice tidy little place in an area close to where I was doing business.
I stay in the area once a month or so and will def use this place again if its available.
A comfortable, cool, quiet base for Boise activities
We visited Boise with our dog in very hot weather as we dropped our son off at BSU. The air conditioning, grassy back yard, comfortable beds, and well-functioning kitchen made this a great property for our purposes. We would not hesitate to come back to stay another time.
This was a great place to stay in Boise. It was only ten minutes from downtown and it is in a nice, safe feeling neighborhood. There are a few baby toys, a high chair, and even a seat. The kitchen had spices and good cooking supplies. Unfortunately the back yard had been neglected for probably 3 -5 years or so. The picture of the backyard is definitely not up to date. The trees have overgrown by a lot and there are vines everywhere. The wood on the sitting area around the fire pit is almost falling apart, it’s so old and weather worn. The fire pit itself is unusable. It’s worn and has holes in the bottom. There are also tree branches hanging over top of the whole thing, so if you managed to keep a fire going it would just light the brush on fire. Despite all that, it’s still a good, safe place for kids and dogs to run around and burn energy. The house is dog friendly. The yard has a good fence and there is a pooper scooper out back. It’s also been used by renters with dogs, cause there’s a lot of hair around. If you’re allergic then you should bring some meds just from the hair left around. The back door sticks a bit and we thought we got locked out until we figured out how to use it. (You have to turn to the left and really shove)The smart tv was nice and had an auto time out for your own log in session. I just had to put in the date I was leaving and it deleted my info automatically. We couldn’t find the Roku remote so we just used our Roku app on our phones.

First and foremost - Nicholas, property owner is so gracious and communicative. Any questions or concerns, N's on it! Always looking for improvement. We had no idea W. Albion would be in such a fantastic location! Convenient to everything Boise and parts west and south. The home is so comfortable - as I've told Nicholas, "your place has such a Zen feel, very calming, so quiet. Great neighbors, nice sized yard, lots of parking! Needing a place, short or long-term, I'd definitely book here first. Thanks Nicholas!
The home was very clean and cozy with an outstanding location. The host was prompt and helpful with all of our questions. Would definitely book this home again.

Why they chose this property
It's a well-connected location. The house retains its 1948 charm but with a fully remodeled bathroom, updated kitchen, and new furniture. I fell in love with the backyard, my peaceful oasis.
