Disillusioned

Booked an apartment with quote “ocean Views”. They didn’t exist no matter how far you leant over the balcony - such views did not exist. No mention was made the apartment was over an Indian restaurant with it’s accompanying pungent smells AND noise at night. My wife suffered an electric shock whilst attempting to raise blinds that needed a gadget finally discovered - by chance in a draw. It only opened 2 blinds and we never did find a way of opening the third. Hopeless management who failed, in our opinion, by misrepresentation and a failure to familiarise documentation to enable a smooth arrival. Not good. Completely unimpressed and I might add, the poorest we have ever experienced in years, decades of travel. Too willing , if asked , to provide a video of the balcony view.

On The Hill Yamba

This property was in an excellent position “on the hill” close to restaurants and the Yamba hotel only one minute walk away with views to die for. You need to be fit if you walk down into town and the beaches because that walk up the hill is a killer! The property was modern, clean and well equipped for any kind of dining whether it be cooking in or eating on the balcony with your bbq or easy take away. Secure parking. Would definitely stay there again or recommend 👍
