The Ultimate Beach Shack

From the instant you walk into this wonderful two bedroom beach house you will feel completely relaxed and at home.

Literally 150 metres walk to the beach with a great kid's playground across the road - the whole family will thoroughly enjoy their stay here.

Featuring a fully fenced yard and a great deck to hang out on, you will be able to put your feet up and just listen to the waves crashing on the shore nearby. Pets are welcome. 50 pet levy per pet per stay.

Free Wifi. Air conditioning in the living room and both bedrooms.

Sleeps six in x double bed and two sets of bunk beds.

Across the road from park and BBQ's, beach and shops.

Please note that (unless specified in the description) our holiday properties are not supplied with linen. Properties are supplied with doonas/doona covers or blankets as well as pillows; however, you will need to BYO or hire linen from our office including: sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, hand towels, tea towels, face washers.

Babies or toddlers sleeping in a portacot or bassinet are not included in the maximum occupancy.
Portacots and high chairs can also be hired at an additional cost.

Please supply your own personal and household items such as washing powder, soap, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper etc.

Needs a good tidy up...

The location is A1. So close to the beach, playground and town. Good sized yard, off street parking and quiet location considering considering proximity to township. Downside...it feels unclean and unkept. Flyscreens would be great to keep all the critters out or an air conditioner so that it's not so hot with the windows closed (the portable air-con supplied was useless). I read the reviews before staying and the "bad couches" were heavily mentioned...and they are as previously reviewed...TERRIBLE!

Love this place!

The Shack is great! Perfect location, so close to the beach and a great outdoor deck. Walking distance to cafes, shops and pubs.

Excellent Location!

While not the greatest place, I mean, it is called - "The Shack", which is fairly self explanatory really, it is close to the beach and the main shops of Rainbow Beach. Everything is a short walk away which is great! Don't be expecting alot, but it is great for a cheap little getaway right near the beach!

Very poor accomodation

The shack is worn and run down. The kitchen cabinets are rotten through. The sofas are stained and dirty. Certainly not worth the money. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We always appreciate feedback, thank you. The Shack is a much-loved holiday property in a fantastic location. There are many people who stay here every time they visit Rainbow Beach and believe it to be great value for money. You cannot get much closer to the beach and the tariffs reflect the standard of accommodation. (Less than $60 per night for an off peak weekly stay). We have loads of other options in different price ranges as well.
