"Ocean Watch" is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath north-facing condo with amazing coastline ocean views. Whether you are relaxing on the private balcony which has been upgraded with epoxy decks or taking in the view from the large living room windows, you’ll have a front-row seat to fall in love with the ocean all over again. Ocean Watch exudes luxury! The rich, mahogany tile flooring and crown molding set off the spacious living area which also boasts a 50” smart TV. At the end of the day, refresh yourself in upgraded bathrooms with granite vanity tops before you sink into the luxurious king bed in your bedroom. The rest of your party will be equally spoiled as they spread out in the second bedroom containing a beautiful duo bunk (full on bottom/single on top) with an additional single trundle that slides handily away when not in use. With the additional queen sleeper sofa in the living room, this spacious retreat can comfortably sleep up to 8 guests. The open-style kitchen has a breakfast bar for extra seating, beautiful appliances, dishes, and cookware as well as traditional and Keurig coffee makers. Bask in the sun’s first rays as you step out onto your private balcony featuring Polywood deck furniture plus a chaise lounge. We love First In Flight! We have stayed there 3 times. This was our first time in this unit. Larger than a anticipated and great ocean view even though it is a side unit. Highly recommend.

Missing a few things

Very nice property and location. Well maintained and very clean. There were a couple of things I wished were stocked, such as laundry detergent, dish and dishwasher soap.

Great Location and Beach

We had a great experience at a nice condo and a nice, private beach. The only improvements we would like to see are the addition of toilet paper, hand soap, trash bags, and some other basic amenities with the rental. Also, if renting chairs and umbrellas it would be nice to not have to carry them to and from the room each day. That was negatively unexpected.

Thank you for the review Ken! We do supply a start up bag with toilet paper, one roll paper towels, one dish detergent pod and a couple trash bags. We do e-mail an items to bring list prior to arrival. Our apologies about the storage unit not being available for beach gear. This owner has opted not to allow guest usage as he stores personal items. We did take the opportunity to add this to the description so that there is no confusion for upcoming guests. Amazing

We had such an amazing time here. Everything was so clean and that’s coming from a mom of a three year old who is OCD in regards to cleaning. The view was perfect, the place was prefect, the only thing I would change is I wish all the condos were tobacco free on the property. It was unfortunate you could smell it on the balcony and is scary when you have a child with asthma. We will definitely be back next year!!!

The pool I was told would be open was not, the alternative they gave was a tiny indoor wading area. Almost every surface in the condo was sticky, the sheets and blankets had holes in them.

Wonderful view but the noise was awful

The pros of this place: nice view although the deck never gets sun which is a bummer in the fall. Some folks complained about no windows in the bedrooms but I liked it b/c I could sleep in without the sun waking me. Cons: There was the most obnoxious construction and drilling noise above my head (floor above) for 8 hours a day, almost non stop. I went to the beach by myself for a work retreat and had incredible distractions and intrusions to my planned work, calls, and video recordings. I reached out to First Flight several times for assistance, and they stated it didn't violate the noise ordinance and there was nothing they could do. I stated the drilling and related noise was akin to audio waterboarding. It honestly felt like torture. My family and I left a day early because I didn't want to wake up on Mon morning and endure more noise. I asked for a refund for that last night and the VRBO owner and First Flight refused (FF said they would give me back about $100 of admin fees). I would not recommend this owner per se b/c of the resistance to work with the guest. But the place was nice overall.

Thanks for a nice stay. Wishing it was a bit more luxurious for the $$ spent. Bathroom and kitchen floors were old and gross looking, although I’m sure they were clean. It detracted from the overall feel. Beach was super, and the pool was good. Beds were comfortable. Good trip overall. Thank you for a nice stay.

The property was clean, access to beach and other things were great. The only downside was that there were a lot of occupants with dogs. They were mostly quiet but occasionally start barking in the middle of the night which was a bit of nuisance. Anyway, overall nice stay.

My oversight - but a big oversight - there are NO windows in the bedroom. I was so upset about this when I got there. I cannot believe not one person who reviewed this apartment stated this. This is a huge factor for me. I never would have rented this apartment. It was somewhat clean - I had to clean a little when I got there. The cabinets and draw pulls in the kitchen were sticky. The storage unit that was promised us was no longer available. We took our bikes and we had to message the management company for a change of storage unit - it should be taken off of the listing. The doors onto the beach are not locked - they were duct taped - so much for security - also the doors into the building from the outside stairway were not locked. It seems that this place overall needs a little TLC - I have been renting on VRBO for minimally 20 years and I usually get what I see. But in this listing, it seemed somewhat inaccurate. The towels were OK - they literally provided us with one roll of toilet paper - again this is so surprising. I am used to renting homes/condos - I am aware of how this works - but this was nuts - not even salt and pepper. Literally nothing. I was a little disappointed.

Our stay was great! The weather was perfect and great location to everything. The condo was comfortable, quiet and a short walk to the beach. The pool was great and everyone did a great job of social distancing and limiting time in the pool to allow others to use it. We had an issue with the washing machine. It broke prior to our arrival and was promised it would be replaced on the 3rd day of our stay. It was not replaced until the day prior to checking out. The customer service through First Flight Rentals was fantastic, and I understood it was not in their control. They even let us use an empty condo to do the laundry we needed. Our condo was not cleaned very well prior to arrival. Due to Covid-19, we brought our own supplies to clean on our own accord. But, the floor was still dirty, black mold on the hall bathroom shower head (we refused to use that shower/bath) and both bathroom floors appeared dirty with hair.

Property listing was accurate. Condo was not very clean, felt as if sand was under your feet everywhere that you walked. Deck was very dirty, green algae at the deck post bases as well as deck surface itself.
