Great space, great location. Great host

Lots of space and great location. Host communicated several times before arriving making check in a breeze. We informed host of an issue and he resolved it without issue. We would stay again.

South facing backyard view of pool and fairway was great. Heated pool was much appreciated.

Very spacious home. Recommend a outdoor fire pit area for enjoying the cool nights in the lanai. Overall enjoyed our month stay.

A second home!

We had a rough start but the owner responded quickly and we had a great stay! The house is spacious and nicely furnished with all the amenities of home. The beds are comfortable and the pool was nice to come home to after a long day out. After the rocky start we thoroughly enjoyed stay and would definitely come back!

Cape Coral Stay

Nice size home. Guest suite at opposite end of house from master suite which is nice. Exterior property needs a little TLC but overall the home and furniture were very comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. Other positives: Heated pool was GREAT! Can’t say enough about how nice it is to get up in the morning and jump in the pool! Dog friendly property and neighborhood. Can park in garage. Backs up to Palmetto Pines Golf Club (twilight rates reasonable). 2 sets of golf clubs in garage you can use. (Saves $$ on rental clubs). Golf course view was nice to look at. Kitchen has all the basic needs for a longer stay. Plenty of towels and bed linens. New propane fire pit in the lanai. 15 mins to Pine Island. 35 mins to Ft. Myers Beach. 40 mins to Fisherman’s Village. Grocery store close by. Owner Jim is a nice guy and responsive should you need anything. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Very Disappointed

The photos for this rental, do not show the many negatives in this home. This could be a lovely home, however, it needs someone to clean it out, and clean it up. Closets and kitchen cabinets full of old, and unusable linens, dishes, cookware and junk. Carpets are stained and frayed. Walls are in need of fresh paint. Overall, this home needs a good cleaning. Many things are broken, some minor repairs, which the owner neglects. We rented this house for a month, and felt sad for this home, and disappointed with our choice. Let me say, the neighborhood is nice, and the golf course view is very pleasant. The pool was cleaned weekly, (which we never used), and the TV and cable were good. All of the above has been detailed with the owner. He came back with a nasty response, taking no responsibility for the condition of this home.

After 6 ..... not sure what to say here. In 6 I've been renting this home for 6 years and this is the only negative review I've received (except for o1regarding the cleaners, which admittedly weren't the best). This person was mean & angry from the moment she arrived. She called me stating they were VERY unhappy that the lockbox on the front door was broken. I spent 20 minutes on the phone walking them through it and they finally figured it out. The next day she called and very angry that the TV didn't work. Once again, I spent 20 or 30 minutes on the phone before they figured it out (and hung up on me). I never heard from her again until I saw this review. I have no idea what is broken - wish she would have communicated if she had found issues. I feel fortunate that I've had SO many wonderful people rent this home (many still come back every year). I guess I was due for this one, but I'll continue to invest in the home and make sure it's the best it can be!

Has potential

Looks way better in the add!! House is not well maintained. Needs a yard crew, cleaning crew, painting crew and a pool team just to bring this home up to level that matches the price they are asking. I texted the owner as soon as we arrived to let him know that the kitchen was gross (there was even a pile of hair in the freezer)…and the response I got was “what’s dirty, I was just there”…..and “well I have not had any complaints before and I have it booked the rest of the season with return clients”……(basically he didn’t care- or even consider to come back to see for himself). As a result we ate out all week and had to clean it ourselves! I expected a lot more for what we paid…first time using Vrbo and probably the last. Then he had the nerve to ask us to leave early because he has a “professional cleaning crew” scheduled to come in as soon as we leave and “it was their busiest day of the year so he wanted them to be able to get in there asap”. - I would of had a crew in immediately after one of my customers called…not made them spend the whole week in a dirty house, THEN have a crew in to clean it once they left. Who does that? Not trying to bash him, just sharing OUR experience. You have options and you need to look close at comments to make a decision. I just don’t think it is fair to dress up photos, and look the other way when someone has issues while you put all the cash in your pocket and do nothing. I have plenty of photos if anyone ever wants to see what the place really looks like. NEVER had an experience like this with any other timeshare/rental companies.

Wow! don't know where to start with this one.... except to say that he's more pleasant with this review than he was when he was when we spoke! The house was clean, but he threatened to write a negative review if I didn't give him money. Not willing to submit to extortion. I've owned and rented this home for 4 years, and this is my first negative review. I guess you encounter all kinds when you do this. I've been very fortunate to have encountered mostly great people, and I'm sure there will be many more in the future.
