About this property
Tranquil Desert Retreat . Short walk to hot springs & close to Joshua Tree!
Permit # VR20-0019. Max 6 guests. Welcome to our tranquil Desert Oasis. Desert Hot Springs is a close 10-15 min drive to Palm Springs and just a bit further from all of the charming desert towns throughout the Coachella Valley. Nestled in the foothills of Joshua Tree National Park it’s perfectly located between the bustling desert cities (and countless world renowned golf courses) and just 30-40 mins away from a secluded hike amongst the Joshua Trees. What we absolutely love the most is the magical hot spring water in DHS!
We’ve made the entire house accessible for guests except for one owners closet and one owners cabinet. There’s a smart garage door opener, keyless Schlage locking system and we have the alarm accessible on our cell phones to make check in a breeze. We also have co-hosts and vendors close by to help in case you need hands on help with anything. There are three bedrooms with feather duvets and high quality linens and extra snuggly Barefoot Dreams blankets & robes for those chilly desert nights. We have an additional air bed we haven’t listed as an extra bed but it’s on the premises and available for use. There are two full bathrooms with all of the amenities, extra towels and black make-up washcloths to make laundry a breeze (a personal favorite of mine). The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay as convenient as possible. Relax and enjoy the beautiful panoramic desert mountain views and exquisite sunsets. Our favorite thing to do is watch the sunset in the zero gravity chairs (provided) while enjoying a cold beverage, have an evening soak in the hot springs and snuggle in to bed for some of the best sleep we’ve ever had. This is our vacation home and we’ve tastefully decorated with things we love including many prints from our favorite artist Michael Parkes. Some of his works artistically depict semi nude (topless) women. We absolutely love them and have small children ourselves but want to be sure if you’re traveling with children you’ve looked at the pictures in the listing carefully and feel the same way.
Desert Hot Springs is a magical town that just so happens to be a five point Earth energy vortex (a place where five Earth powers converge) and sits atop an underground water aquifer that provides rejuvenating hot springs (read more at if you’d like to learn about the energy vortex). We are just a couple of blocks from both Two Bunch Palms and The Springs, which we feel as spa owners ourselves, are the top two spas in town. Two Bunch Palms also has an amazing restaurant if you’d like to do a spa day, soak and eat a great meal. We also have a great relationship with Nurturing Nest for $20 hot springs soaks and there are of course countless places all over town if you’d like to venture out on your own. Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, La Quinta and Indio are all close by in the Coachella Valley if you like golf, nightlife and casinos or check out some of the unforgettable daytime adventures like the Palm Springs Tram, The Living Desert or a desert ATV trip! If you like shopping the valley is full of art, antiques and Art Deco shopping and don’t forget the Cabazon outlets at Morongo Casino are about 10 miles west and are second to none. Last but not least we have Joshua Tree National Park about 30-40 mins away (don’t forget to check out Intgratron on your way) if you like the outdoors. The perfect balance of Heaven and Earth! Enjoy! Noise sensors per the City of Desert Hot Springs are encouraged to have a short term rental permit and are present. exterior. Ring security cameras on all both entry doors for your additional security.

About the host
Hosted by Kirsten and Michael

My husband and I run a small holistic spa and self manage our properties in order to give people a more personal experience when traveling. We are both big believers in Napoleon Hill and the Law of Attraction and strive to always give more than we receive and operate with kindness and integrity. We believe that if we do amazing, like minded people will find us whether it be hosting or on our own travel journies. Being avid worldwide travelers ourselves we always try to put ourselves in other people’s shoes when hosting and provide everything we possibly can to make their stay more enjoyable. We love the outdoors and most things holistic which is why we settled on Desert Hot Springs for Air BnB hosting. With its five point Earth Energy Vortex and magical healing hot springs it was an easy to mention close proximity to Joshua Tree and the entire Coachella Valley.
