For the classic Kiwi Bach experience, this is your spot. Our property is blessed with privacy, sunlight, comfort and of course the best beach in the coromandel just 2mins away.

Classic Kiwi Bach nestled in established native New Zealand garden. A perfect place to wake up amongst the birds.
This bach is a sunny spot with plenty of open space for bbq s, unwinding and relaxing amongst picturesque landscape.
Whangapoua is a safe beach to swim, with further swimming options in the harbour and lagoon.

There are multiple beautiful walks in the area. New Chums beach is a world famous destination, just a 30min walk away.
Whangapoua is a lovely place to spend time in the coromandel.

The property features a nice big deck for lounging and great open plan living. It's close to the beach, reserve, shop, estuary and New Chums beach. It has a unique Whangapoua outlook with a quiet established garden setting, great for native bird watching.

Duvets and pillow are provided on all beds. In classic kiwi bach style tenants need to provide their own sheets, pillowcases and towels.

Perfect spot for a laid-back holiday

This was our third summer holidaying in beautiful Whangapoua - first time at this bach. It was an ideal set-up for us, well equipped but still had the kiwi bach feeling. Great to have somewhere we could bring our dog. We loved the location near the river and the privacy of an established garden. The big deck was great too, lots of space for eating outside and generally chilling out.

Feels like home, but better

We loved the relaxed feel of the property which feels like a home away from home, thats built around quality time. The street is quiet and filled with friendly neighbours. The deck has ample seating for a group to sit and chat not only at meals but milling about as you relax. The communication with our host was clear and easy. The proximity to the beach is a definite plus, we wpuld love to stay here again

Nice family vibe bach

Great family vibes here and a great spot for a couple, family or friends to relax. Pretty much on the beach which is a gorgeous spot too. Weather was so good to us and sucks to be going back to work tomorrow! Thanks again Lucy!!!

Private hideaway close to the beach

Access is down a long sealed driveway. A lovely sense of privacy looking out over trees & a small river. Only 1.5 blocks to the most gorgeous white sanded beach. Very few people around. We really loved our stay here. No linen provided. The cleaner may have let the property owner down a bit I think with empty liquid soap & dishwashing liquid & one roll of toilet paper for the week , 3 light bulbs needed. We restocked these items for the owner & soon forgot about this. Lovely character filled bach . Superb large deck outside. I would recommend this lovely place to stay in.

Whangapoua Cutie

A character property tucked away in a secluded location. This is a property for those that want a "bachy" feeling. The stairs up to the two bedrooms upstairs are steep so not that great for young kids or the faint-hearted. But we had young adults so being able to have them in the house and us in the separated bedroom away from the house worked for us.

Classic kiwi bach in a peaceful secluded spot

Lovely peaceful bach with secluded and leafy outlook. Lots of bird life and five minutes walk to beautiful Whangapoua beach. The bach has everything you need and a relaxed feeling. Highly recommended, everyone wants to come back.

Great location

Good property to rent the location was good. It was quiet and peaceful with lovely garden. It needs a major clean and tidy up and a bit of love put into it, the ventilation sorted then it would be great.

Lovely old school bach

We really enjoyed staying there. The bed upstairs was great and we appreciated the nice duvet. The stairs are scary and probably quite dangerous for young kids. We had to be careful with our own kids. Otherwise, there was everything there that we needed. Thanks.

Peaceful Cottage, awesome location, great for the dog

Great character cottage in a quiet location. Great enclosed section for the dog to hang out in. Grass area across driveway to throw the ball. Plenty of beds to choose from with the Sleepout close by. Very short walk to the beach. Loved our stay!

A slice of paradise

What a wonderful stay at a lovely place situated a short stroll to a magnificent beach and to the river swing! Lovely cozy cabin feel just perfect for us all. Don’t let anyone kid you that New Chums is any better than Whangapoua Beach itself!!

Perfect old school bach

Wonderful rustic bach in a quiet enclave, just a few hundred metres from the beach. It's clearly a much loved family bach full of memories. We loved it's rustic charm and location. Everything you need for a proper chilled out break.

lovely stay with friends

The house was really close to the new chum beach, we had really nice time there, the only downside is that they don’t have wifi. And there’s only one bathroom, so it might not be convenient for a large party, but overall was a cute house with everything needed:)

Quaint NZ Batch

The home was adequate. However, I felt the home could have been made more presentable. We traveled 6,000 miles and I must have missed the part that there were no linens, which we asked for and received. The weather was rather warm and there was no way to cool the upstairs bedrooms.
