Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee maker.

Every unit has a large deck overlooking the water, a private fire pit and a propane BBQ.
Get well rested on a comfortable Sealy Posturpedic mattress.
Our charming cottage is tastefully furnished with artisan log furniture.

Free use of canoes, kayaks, paddle-boards and bicycles.
Heated Pool
Playground and zip line for kids

Located 20 minutes from the beaches at Sandbanks Provincial Park, 10 minutes from Picton and 10 minutes from the closest wineries.

Great location for family summer vacation, reunions, honeymooners, retired couples, winter breakaway and city escapes!

Please bring your own pillows, towels and sheets. Or if interested, a linen package can be rented from us for an extra $20/person.

This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date.

A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.

Cleaning and Damages Deposit:
We expect the cottage to be left in the same conditions as when you arrived. A cleaning fee will apply in case additional cleaning is required due to the cottage being left in a dirty condition. The deposit will be returned to you after the cabin has been inspected.

Very impressed, 100% will be returning

Booked online, which can always be a bit of a gamble - however, the owner called me soon after with follow up questions to make sure my stay was as comfortable as possible (talk about customer service). We stayed in one of the cabins with a queen bed, two twins, and a pull out couch; four young adults were very comfortable. The place is gorgeously decorated inside and very well stocked (including pretty much anything you could need in the kitchen), tons of storage if you like to unpack, and the cutest set up! Now on to the main event - THE AMENITIES! I was pumped to find that you can borrow kayaks, canoes, stand up paddle boards, bikes, etc FOR FREE!! There's a firepit on each site, beautiful waterfront properties, a pool(!!), basketball net, and a room filled with movies and board games, etc. I only booked our cottage for one night and totally regretted it - next time I'll booked for longer and make use of all the awesome stuff they have available :). Absolutely worth the money and the drive, we had a great experience there! My group of 6 girlfriends had a great time at this location and I will definitely be booking there on my next visit to Prince Edward County!

Great cottage, and the moon for free!

Moonlight sparkles on the Black River, just 20 feet off Cabin 7's deck. New to us this fall, these dozen spotlessly clean cottages are well-spaced on a large rolling meadow, with private fire pits, a heated above ground pool, all new appliances. I have no idea what the experience is like in high summer with kids and families, but in fall, it's bike riders, wine tourists, good adult company. Sit on the deck, watch the waves shimmer into the river from Lake Ontario. This property eclipses our previous fall stays at Huff Inn and Sandbanks Summer Village. We'll be back to Black River! Thanks so much Cindy!
