Happy Days - what a gem

Bring your bikes and boat of course. This lil gem is super close to the boat ramp (didn’t have to toe down the boat to bring her home) it’s only 1 street back from the boardwalk/river and a short walk/ride to the local shops. It’s a cute little home (& town) and has all you need for cooking plus a good size shed which was really handy for storage and entertaining/BBQ area (recommend extra light for outside of shed & BYO BBQ). The local bowlsy is tops, great group of locals, great service and there’s raffles!

Don’t waste your money on this stay

This house (happy days) is not cleaned properly at all, when we arrived the lawns were long and no maintenance crew attended for the whole 2 weeks of our stay making us not comfortable to let our toddler play outside, there was cockroach droppings all through the house and kitchen all through the utensils and plates and cups and cook ware, all through the dressers in each “room” and live cockroaches throughout the property, broken tv remote, broken stove top and a broken vacuum. Food crumbs on all surfaces when we arrived also. Our kids got ill from the disgusting state of this house. I emailed the realestate reporting the issues and disappointment and got a reply a week later after they wanted to take bond for something we were not responsible for saying “we have noted the issues” no apology nothing. Do not stay here and waste your money.

Fantastic Property

Lovely property and had everything we needed. Close to main shops and boat ramp. The Fish 'n Chips at the local shop is amazing! Property is clean and quite roomy however the kitchen/dining area is quite cramped which can be frustrating at times when trying to access the fridge when someone is sitting at the table. Kitchen is well stocked but has no pantry space.

"Happy Days" Great Location

We found "Happy Days" a great place to stay. On arrival the place was very clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable to sleep in. Location is great, a street back from esplanade, close to boat ramp and close to shops. Our fur babies loved there walks everyday, either on the sand banks or the esplanade. The locals were really friendly and welcoming. The only negative I have about "Happy Days" is that there is no pantry to put your food away. Thanks again and we will be back.
