About this property

New home w/ huge pool, 2 min walk to beach!

GONE COASTAL has loads of space to relax on four wide porches. Watch the boats pass and the sun set over the marsh. An Inverted floor plan maximizes views from the great room. Private beach access is available for Sunshine Ln. 3 min walk from door to toes in the surf.
This home is very kid friendly with plenty of games and toys and an oversized pool with toddler play area/sun deck. There are bikes and helmets and other ride on toys for all ages.
We strive to provide as much as we can for our guests. Unlike most beach houses, we provide most personal and household products some of which include: Shampoo, conditioner, kids shampoo, body wash, cleaning products, laundry and dish detergent, paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, etc.
4 Bedrooms and 3 baths (two masters with king beds). One of the bedroom is a fun kids getaway with bunk beds (5 twins total)

*Pool Policy: Overnight temps must be in the high 50's at least. Heater usually maintains 10-20 degrees above outdoor temp. Open May-October (sometimes April & November) for an additional fee. Message for a quote.

We had a wonderful family beach vacation. The property was very clean and was everything that it had been advertised to be. The house has a ton of windows making it light and bright. Everything felt very new and updated in the house. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and fed our group of 10 all week. The pool was a big hit and is quite large for a beach house. It was a quick walk to the beach which was convenient. Sheets and linens were provided which was really nice. Communication with Jandy was exceptional. I would definitely stay at Jandy’s house again.

Beautiful Home

Great House!

We had a great stay and will plan to return. The quick walk to the beach and the pool made for a great vacation. The house had plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and we enjoyed time together on the porches and upper floor. Host was great - helpful & communicative.

Fantastic Stay

Our extended family had a wonderful visit. The home easily accommodated the eight of us and the kids loved having a large pool to play in. The walk to the beach was short and easy and extras, like having a beach wagon, chairs, and sand toys was an unexpected delight. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Perfect Perfect Perfect

One of the best value's we've gotten at Holden Beach. It's not dated, everything is new, and updated, and the pool was awesome! Jandy was very attentive as well with what few requests we had. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great house and owner. Very easy check and communication. House was very well stocked and the pool is amazing. The beach access was really close and made it easy to get all our beach stuff to the ocean. Good parking for our cars. Would definitely put this in our top beach house rentals!!

Quiet Getaway

The house was on a quiet, residential, dead end street, which made it perfect for the kids to play outside and ride bikes. The pool was a huge hit. Easy access to the beach, and the wagon with toys provided made it extra easy to lug all of our stuff to and from the beach. One minor repair needed when we arrived and it was tended to very quickly and without issue. We would love to stay here again!

Amazing Week!

Thank you for this amazing opportunity. The house was beautiful. My kids and family really enjoyed the pool. The views off 1 of either 4 decks was great. My Dad turn 60 and he said it was one of the best trips he has every been on. Thank you for making our trip so great! You should receive 100000 stars as this trip was amazing!

Will Keep Coming Back

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. It was just as amazing this time as the first time we stayed. Everything you could need plus more is provided. The kids loved all the various toys available to play with both outside of the house and within the house. The owner is so very responsive to any need/issue that may arise during the stay. This will be the first house we look to book when we plan our next trip!

Anniversary trip with family

The listing is spot on, everything this property promised to be and more! We had a group of 10 and could not of been happier with the beautiful home, the very needed pool with night swimming under the colored lights! Beach so convenient and the owner provided some necessities to enjoy it! We brought flashlights and enjoyed looking for sand crabs!!! Jandy, the owner was so easy to contract and truly cared about our family enjoying the time we were there! Short drive over the bridge and plenty of places to go, then back to the house which was quiet and comfortable! We loved everything about it!

Holden Beach Gem

House is nicely decorated and comfortable. Having linens and towels was an added bonus. They even provide trash bags, soap, shampoo, etc. The heated pool was great especially the sun deck which is a perfect little kids area in the pool. Having a wagon full of beach necessities was awesome and they even have bikes and helmets to use. My toddler was so happy with the balance bike. Jandy is super kind and responsive. Her pride of ownership shines through. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful beach getaway

Our family came from the mtns to the ocean for our spring break vacation. We paid the extra to heat the pool and that was the best decision ever. Such a quiet neighborhood and the beaches were peaceful and not overcrowded. I’m sure it’s busier in the summer when it’s hot but this was perfect for our family. There was plenty of room for all of our kids. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen is beautiful and I had no issues cooking during the week. I was thankful for Tupperware and all the dishes we needed for our needs. Jandy was just a message away for any needs and I appreciated her checking in when we arrived. Overall, it was a good trip

Amazing accommodations

Our family loved this property! The location for sunrises and sunsets was amazing. Not only could you see and hear the ocean, you were also able to see the sound (where we frequently saw dolphins!) Everything you could possibly need/want was available to you. We had beach chairs, 2 beach wagons, beach toys, bikes of all sizes, razor scooters, helmets, puddle jumpers/life jackets for the kids, pool floats, pool towels, a spice cabinet with flour/sugar/oil etc. (all the stuff you don’t want to buy at the store to only use once for the week), and fully stocked cleaning supplies (soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish detergent, clothes detergent, dishwasher detergent). This was seriously the best stocked house we have EVER stayed at! Our kids (ages 7 and 3) loved all the toys in their room as well as the large pool. The adults enjoyed that the pool was almost completely shaded in the afternoon, where we could take a break from the sun (and most days took a nap!) We also enjoyed many of the full time resident neighbors and spoke to them frequently. Holden Beach is definitely a welcoming community with a family feel. Nice place for a family, needs a little maintenance

This place is as advertised and as the pictures portray. The walk to the beach is much closer than I thought. You don't need a golf cart, unless you just want to joy ride. It is nicely decorated and has lots of toys available for little ones. The pool is nice and sunny, therefore mostly warm. Check in and check out were easy. Unfortunately, the house had a number of maintenance issues that should have been addressed prior to our stay. Door knobs falling off, the oven handle falling off, drawers missing from the fridge, furniture missing handles, handles missing from cabinets in kitchen, some appliances need some repair, etc. The owner tried to help and the door knobs were fixed, but other things couldn't be repaired while we were there. Too bad for us that we had to deal with all that. Also, the floors and kitchen need a major cleaning. If the owners would stop renting for a week and fix these small issues and have the house thoroughly cleaned, it would be perfect. Hopefully someone else gets to enjoy that, as we sadly did not. One or two small issues I get, but all that, I don't.

Beautiful stay

We had such a wonderful time. We celebrated a weekend with family and it was so nice. The outdoor pool, the location to the beach, the decks. This house was beautiful and well appointed with nearly every thing that you need. Large generous rooms after the first flight of stairs, alarms and upper lock to help notify you if your child exits (such a relief to have). One master room upstairs on the kitchen and living room level with a deck on either side. Communication with the host was quick and thorough. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Great Getaway

Only able to stay a couple of days, but we enjoyed ourselves. Bedding is extremely comfy and overall experience was great. The owner was very helpful when we couldn't get the lock to work and got us inside within a few minutes. The beach was a short walk and the pool was a great addition and used both days by the kids.

Ladies retreat for women's ministry

We enjoyed our stay. It was a lovely appointed home with all of the necessities. We loved the short walk to the beach and had a great time as the weather was warm enough that we could still utilize the pool. We were able to baptize 4 ladies as well. We will try to rent it again next year for out beach trip. C2B Women of Freedom Life Church in Angier, NC.

Great week at Holden

We had a great time at this house--it's clean, bright and cozy. We have 3 kids under 6, so we appreciated all the kids stuff including games, toys, beach items, the pool, bikes/scooters and the air fryer for french fries and chicken nuggets. Boom--essentials covered.
