With spectacular views overlooking Marengo Beach and expansive windows, this spacious and perfectly positioned home is ideal for a relaxing beachside getaway. Situated on famous Panorama Crescent in Marengo, this fully self-contained home offers an open plan kitchen/living area, 4 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Features include a front balcony with uninterrupted ocean views, a rear deck with an outside bath, Delonghi Nespresso coffee machine with limited pods supplied (then BYO), a combustion fireplace, WiFi and Foxtel, including sports channels so you do not miss a minute of the footy action!

Cape Paradiso provides the easy holiday escape, allowing you to bring the whole family along (including your pets!) and only a short 5-minute drive to the township of Apollo Bay.

Linen not provided - Hire available

Firewood is supplied all year round.

Pets welcome - Owner will consider inside - Please contact agency for special requirements - No enclosed yard.

Laundry includes washing machine, no dryer.

Please note: There are several steps required to access the house from the driveway, which may not be suitable for guests with mobility concerns. In addition, the driveway to the property is very steep, so care should be taken when arriving and departing.

Fantastic view, fire and location. Disappointing that there were no dishwasher tablets or tea towel to dry dishes!

Family getaway

Magnificent view to the South West. Saw a whale. Clean and well appointed kitchen. Cosy and warm fire. We will book again.

The view is GORGEOUS

we had such a lovely time staying down at Apollo bay the photos definitely don’t do its justice on how amazing the views are in person I would say the curtains do need a deep clean as they had dead bugs all over them I love how this place is dog friendly but beware we did have one of the neighbours dogs get in the backyard the property manager was absolutely lovely! Unfortunately we had a situation with my family go down despite all that going on they were even still willing to let us stay I am so definitely coming back here again

Fabulous view but needs some renovating

You can’t beat the view over the ocean, but the kitchen needed a good clean, there was no proper pantry, the cupboards smelled musty inside, the main couch needs to be replaced and the outside area for dogs is totally inadequate. The master bedroom is a good size and both the bathrooms are lovely.

Good view but not a great house

The view was splendid, but the house was quite poorly maintained. Light bulbs were broken, door knobs were loose, dishwasher was not working, heater in room not working. It would have been a more pleasant stay if the house was more well maintained.

Great view

Views are amazing and it’s a short walk to a lovley beach. Everything inside you need! BBQ hasn’t been cleaned for a long time and was horrid so double check it’s cleaned if you need to use it. Not suitable for little kids/toddlers, elderly or anyone with low range fitness. There are stairs everywhere. Also our 4wd struggled to fit up the driveway. My mum uses a wheelchair and it walking aid so we had to carry her out of the house. Apollo bay itself doesn’t have a great range in the supermarkets and no butcher no fruit and veg store so bring it with you if your eating in but there are a good range of places to eat. The town was generally the most unfriendly place I’ve been but there are plenty of nice beaches and drives to stay away

Superb location for a relaxing stay

We loved our stay here. The views were incredible, a nice easy walk to the beach and not far to get to town for amenities. I was underwhelmed by how little there was in regards to basics (I.e. no salt and pepper, glad wrap, oil, only one dishwasher tablet for a weeks stay.) and the gas bottle was empty which we only realised was the case when we wanted to use it for dinner one night. These little touches are things I’ve come to expect are somewhat catered for at stays so was surprised when there was nothing. Otherwise the stay was great, we would love to come again.

A fantastic beach shack

The view oh that wonderful view. The road and paths are steep but it is well worth it to be able to wake up to that view every morning. Every beach shack should have a wood burning heater and this was one of the easiest to light and control. The kitchen got a work out as we like to cook.

Wonderful views

The property had every amenity to sit comfortably and observe the ocean and weather. However, one of the couches is long overdue for an upgrade coz springs have sprung. Had we observed the tides more closely we would have been able to walk from the property along the waters edge to Apollo Bay.

Wonderful position

Driving up Panorama Dve we were excited to see the position of this house. Lovely large windows overlooking the sea. At night we could hear the waves. The house was well appointed and could easily house 2 families. Only problem was that it was advertised as pet friendly but the back yard wasn't enclosed - only a balcony.

Great view- house needs work

- Photos of property are outdated - Dead flies squished on blinds and walls - Door nets extremely dirty - Bed sheets covered in hair, bottom sheets looked like they’d never been changed -Beds + sofas extremely uncomfortable - 1 bed doona had ‘white stains’ on the underside, I don’t think I need to say anymore about what that is. - Master bedroom had a disgusting odour which smelt like an animal had died under the house a while ago. -Contacted the property manager who said they would try send someone out, however didnt and we ended up leaving a night early as the smell was making us feel quite ill. Property manager was really helpful, sent a lady out with fresh sheets, said she would discuss with her manager about a refund for the last night not spent. If the above issues were dealt with the stay would be lovely as the view was stunning.

Family getaway for birthday

Fabulous property, excellent location. Had a fabulous time. BUT Paid for linen, where I had to pick up linen in town, make beds, unmake beds, and return over 20kilos of linen. I presumed when you paid for linen - you paid for it to be on the beds and in the bathrooms,- not on the property managers office.....

A later check out of 10.30am would be ideal. Overall great stay :) Some confusion with linen however, real estate said not provided however it was as property said it originally would. We brought our own so wasn’t a problem.

Comfortable for our family of 6 adults. Disappointed with the false advertising of free wifi which was one of the criteria for our decision to book. No wifi at all! Spoke to the agent who were placating but did nothing.

In Apollo Bay (unlike Melbourne) it is sometimes difficult to manage the connections. It can depend on who the Provider the Owner has elected to go with in terms of signal strength and so on. We are currently researching as to how we can provide a better Wi-Fi service in the area with the Wi-Fi Providers. We do have a number of properties that are trouble free and we are using same as a template as well as encouraging all owners to install Wi-Fi as we view this a must have in todays market. Stunning views

We had a wonderful time in this comfortable holiday home with spectacular views over the beach. So relaxing. Plenty of firewood to keep us warm too. The bath on the deck outside added to the relaxation, just the sound of the birds and the waves in the background.
