Saburtalo district is one of the central neighbourhoods of Tbilisi. Our apartment is just a few hundred meters from the Tbilisi city hall and all the most interesting places to visit are a stone’s throw away. Old Tbilisi can be reached by public transport, by car (or taxi, very cheap in our city) in 10 minutes. The ground floor of our apartment building hosts a supermarket which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and offers and ample range of groceries, including pre-made food as well. Bio fruit and vegetables can be bought in a small shop right across the street. A street market is just 4 minutes walk from the house, selling traditional Georgian spices, fresh Georgian bread (shotis puri), home-made honey, dried fruit and other local products. A nice café ‘Mandarinebi is just 3 minutes away from the flat. Restaurant Pesvebi is just across the street, offering delicious traditional Georgian food. A pastry shop Entrée is also just around the corner. Public transport buses and small buses (marshutkas) are going to all directions from a bus-stop just across the street, and metro station Samedicino Instituti is a 5 minute walk away from the apartment.
