For the more adventurous or the young at heart, head out to Tree Tops Adventure Park located near the Ourimbah State Forest and take the flying fox across the valley.

The Entrance family getaway

We had a lovely 8 days here! Very hectic with grandchildren but close to everything! Kids loved walking to ‘the island’ such An adventure and of course the little water park and playground was well used. Unit 6 Lakeview was handy to everything, it is a little ‘aged’ and could do with a little spruce up, and maybe some wifi, but we were very comfortable and had a good time!

What a view, great location

Overall for a family or 2 this is a great property for your getaway with everything in walking distance great coffee and Pizza just down stairs!! It’s a bit run down and for the cost of the cleaning fee I would not have expected to need to pick up glass all over the deck for my toddler to cut herself on. In saying that the bathrooms are renovated and clean. No bin bags and 1 roll of toilet paper was a bit cheap I think. Fully equipped kitchen was great, only thing missing was a bottle opener. Lots of stairs, but worth it for the amazing view. We had a great time and enjoyed the big deck for the kids to run around.

A few things missing

The overall property was ok. I booked for 7 people how ever there is only one car park allocated which does not make sense. The car park is horrible. On arrival after a 5 hour drive I neglected to read the fine print that said the hot water service needs to be turned on manually. There was a tiny sign in the corner of the kitchen to remind you how ever I feel as though if you book a room the hot water should be on and ready upon arrival. The singns to find the rooms from the car park is a bit behind the times as well. Good for a family if a few minor things were changed, I will be staying else where next time
