Amber Grove retreat is situated in a quiet cul de sac 1.5 km from the town, looking out over the Whakatane River with views out to Whale island. It is a large 4 bedroom home with large lounge and dining room opening out onto a private deck and back yard.Just 8 km to Ohope Beach.Close enough to enjoy all Whakatane has to offer.Fishing charters,or take a walk through the native reserve and experience our National Bird the Kiwi. Tauranga is 1 hours drive away to Tauranga and Rotorua.
Pricing quoted for non peak is for 2 adults. extra adults and children over 2 are priced at $50.00

Great place to stay when you needs some time out.

It would have been great to be able to use the spa pool - that would really have made a difficult time easier. It needed a good dust but was otherwise very comfortable.

Amazing spot!

We loved our stay at Amber Grove! The house was huge which enabled us all to have our own space. The outside areas were perfect for Christmas lunch and coffee each morning.

Weekend stay.

Hi, we rented this home for a couple of days. Generally, the house is beautifully set out. but it was a little tired. I.e cupboard draw fell off, dishwasher top draw broken. Cobwebs and spiders around places. The cleaner needs to do a little better. These are the only comments. Over all beautiful home.

We really enjoyed this house and our stay in Whakatane. The house seems to have everything especially the kitchen which was brilliantly equipped. Beds were comfortable and the garden picturesque.. the house was very quiet

Peaceful retreat

Spacious home in a quiet street

This home is in a great neighbourhood and just a short walk to town either through the streets or on the scenic stop bank walk. There was lots of space and a lovely back yard making for a comfortable stay.

Great house, great location.

Large, clean and tidy house in a quiet cul de sac. Plenty of crockery and equipment and a great location.. Loved the ease of access to the house and great communication from the owner. I'd definitely recommend.
