A few days relaxing at Hazards Hideaway may be all you need to recharge your batteries. Our greatest assets are the views of great Oyster Bay and the Hazards, the abundant bird life and regular seasonal sightings (May - Oct) of dolphins and whales, from your very own sitting chair or bed.
If however, this is not enough there is much to see and do at Coles Bay. Home of the Internationally known Freycinet National Park its easy to start with a bush walk or climb up Mt. Amos. A swim at Wineglass Bay is a must, if the weather permits.

Pied oystercatches, ganets, pelicans, shearwaters, fairy terns, cormerets, sandpipers, pacific sea gulls, yellow wattle birds, rosella parrots, swallows. We even have a pair of sea eagles that live nearby.
Moulting Lagoon ( Ramsar site) is a haven for all manner of water birds, including migratory waders. On a summer evening watch the Shearwaters fly home to their burrows at Swansea. Don't miss a penguin tour at Bicheno where these amazing little birds walk by only feet away.
