Enjoy the star-studded night sky listening to the calls of the loons while sitting on our west-facing deck with amazing sunset, lake, and mountain views. Comfortable knotty pine custom home with cathedral ceilings and fabulous floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace. Our open kitchen and dining areas are perfect for entertaining. The island and kitchen counters are adorned in beautiful local Monson slate. Experience Maine, the way life should be. Connect to extensive snowmobile and ATV trail systems from the yard. Over 400 feet of pristine shared lakefront with a sandy beach, docking system, mooring, and picnic tables. Large wrap-around deck and beautiful perennial gardens to enjoy at your leisure. Roast marshmallows in our outdoor fire pit. The outdoor 4-person hot tub is available for a small nightly fee. Kayak rentals are available from May - October. Owners may be present on the property in a non-shared space during the winter months.

Beautiful place with a nice view and sunset. Saw deer in the yard and the access to Moosehead Lake and the area we hunt was great. Saw lots of game and a big bull moose.

Peaceful

Very relaxing and peaceful place with a beautiful view. Remote but still close enough that in 10 mins you could drive to town (watch out for moose) or walk to Moosehead lake or a hiking trail. The family of deer that visit are such an added bonus. Host was very responsive. Thank you for sharing you place!

Moosehead Lake is wonderful. But don’t stay here.

I expect much more from VRBO. We love the area. But this property does not meet our expectations at this price level. VRBO ⁃ front door coming off of hinges ⁃ key lockbox very difficult to operate ⁃ open spaces on 3rd level railing; extremely unsafe for children ⁃ basement / 1st level cold and musty ⁃ furniture worn and ripped ⁃ light bulbs out on ceiling fan ⁃ leaking sink handle ⁃ cut hazards on floor grates ⁃ kitchen cabinets that don’t close ⁃ floors, walls, doors badly worn and scratched ⁃ no bathroom on master bedroom level ⁃ yard and landscaping unkempt ⁃ questionable structural stability of deck supports ⁃ mountain and lake views are only a glimpse from the third level bedroom balcony ⁃ house in need of repainting ⁃ extensive wood rotting on deck and around house ⁃ solar entry light into driveway does not function

Our property is situated on 2 private acres divided from other homes within The Ledges area by woods, yet we are minutes away from Moosehead Lake, Lilly Bay State Park, Greenville for shopping, restaurants, hiking trails and Friends of the Mountain Ski Resort, etc.

ATV and Snowmobile trails can be accessed right from the driveway. Play, sight see and shop Moosehead area during the day. Cook in our fully applianced kitchen or outdoor grill on the deck, then wind down in the hot tub at night under the stars and end your day in front of a cozy fire.
