A beautiful, clean house walking distance to everything in Greenville. The outdoor patio had a nice view too. We would recommend this to anyone who plans a visit to Moosehead Lake.
Beautiful cottage that has been lovingly repurposed from a flower shop!
For a most enjoyable stay, don’t forget to bring linens for the bed and towels for the bathroom. We took full advantage of nearby Greenville restaurants, shops, and waterfront. Overall, excellent stay, great hosts, and wonderful locale
The Cottage is in a beautiful location of the town of Greenville overlooking Moosehead Lake. The cottage is very nice and very clean with all updated appliances and stocked with everything you would need to use in the kitchen such as pots, pans dishes and silverware. The back patio has furniture to relax outside with a gas grill. Would highly suggest staying here and would definitely stay here again!!
My husband and I came to Greenville for the weekend. This cottage was exactly as described, very clean with everything you would need accessible. Beautiful backyard fire pit area with beautiful flowers. Very quiet area but very easy to walk anywhere downtown. Would stay here again on a return visit. Mary was a very nice and responsive owner.
Our stay at the Cottage was great. They provided everything we needed except for having to bring our own sheets and bath towels. All the list amenities were great. Thanks for a pleasant stay. We enjoyed our time even though we never saw a moose.
Great location, spotless, big open floor plan. Walked to bars and restaurants. We came to moose head lake to see moose, we hired Young’s guide service, WOW was it fun. Next time back, seaplane and fishing. Great place to start and finish your day. Perfect
Lovely weekend in moosehead lake. Convenient in greenville maine. No moose but maybe next time. Comfortable kitchen and living area. Bunk beds not the best for adults. Better for kids and parents get main bedroom.
Mary and Gil's "cottage" is a delightful, cozy little home for anyone to visit! We absolutely loved the location, the hospitality and welcome we received from Mary! The cottage is exceptionally clean and had a well equipped kitchen with everything we needed. The location is perfect ~ on a quiet little street and walking distance to the downtown area, harbor, restaurants, picnic areas and hiking. Mary was the perfect hostess, answering our questions and giving us recommendations and helpful information. Mary and Gil have done a tremendous "makeover" on the old flower shop - you can see the hard work and energy they put into their home, making it one of the nicest places we have ever stayed! You will love the interior and decor that makes this cottage so special! You won't regret staying at 9 Cottage Street!
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at The Cottage. It felt like we were visiting at a family member's home. The place was very homey and quite comfortable. It was immaculate and well-cared for. The location was perfect for our needs with the convenience of being near the grocery store, gas, and restaurants, with easy access to back roads for riding our Jeep, (or ATV/snowmobile trails with one at the end of the street). There is plenty of parking space if you have a trailer or two and personal vehicles. We would definitely stay again.
Greenville, ME is a picturesque gateway into Northern Maine. This cosy and welcoming Cottage is tucked away, but also within a short walk to all of your dining, shopping, and nature viewing needs. The Cottage was wonderfully furnished and clean, with a full use kitchen and comfortable living… Loved it here and will be back!
The property is a great central location, walking distance to the town center, shops, and dining. It’s very clean and offers all the necessities. Also, local sites and hikes are a short drive away.
We had a wonderful stay at Moosehead Lake to visit friends. The cottage is well equipped, clean, comfortable and within walking distance to the town. We had several great meals, fun on the lake and even took a ride in a float plane.
A lovely and conveniently located cottage. Steps to shops and restaurants. A comfortable, well equipped space that had everything we needed for a home away from home for our visit to this stunning corner of the world. We would highly recommend this property to other travellers.
My husband grew up in Greenville and we raised our two children in Greenville. Every year we have a “Murray Family Reunion” on a piece of lakefront we own. My husband, my daughter and I stayed at “The Cottage” with many fond memories of the Cottage as Greenvilles florist
The remodel is absolutely beautiful and everything you would need is included. Mary was so easy to work with and so accommodating. I would highly recommend this beautiful spot in Greenville. You will be very pleased.
