The Space:

Step into Captain's Cottage and discover a haven of relaxation and comfort. The living spaces are designed with a beachy theme, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere. The fully-equipped kitchen allows for easy meal preparation. A washer and dryer are conveniently located within the unit. Entertainment options include a Smart TV with YouTube TV/DVR and various apps. Stay connected with complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, perfect for both leisure and work. Outside, enjoy a private beach, beach chairs, a grill, a fire pit, and a back patio. The property also features a fully fenced-in backyard and an outdoor shower with hot water. Linens and towels are provided for your convenience.



Guest Access:

Enjoy complete access to the entire house, yard, and the Priscilla Beach Association amenities. Inside, you'll find comfortable living spaces and everything to get you started. Outside, the yard provides a large space with two seating/ entertaining spaces for ultimate relaxation. Plus, you have access to a private beach with stunning views of Cape Cod Bay.



The Neighborhood:

Growing up in Priscilla Beach (PB) was an amazing experience! Building sandcastles with my grandparents, taking a dip in crystal clear water on a hot day, spending time with our extended beach family and developing a passion for coastal landscapes. PB is truly an oasis of salty breezes, sandy feet and family. We enjoy meeting new people and sharing our family's love for this home and location. We love living in PB!



Getting Around:

Our home is conveniently located approximately 5 miles from downtown Plymouth, offering easy access to local shops, restaurants, and attractions. For those looking to enjoy a round of golf or attend an event, the Pinehills Golf Course and Mirabeau Inn and Spa are just 4 miles away. Traveling to Boston is also accessible, with the Commuter Rail station approximately 7.5 miles from the property. Additionally, the Plymouth to Provincetown Ferry is located about 5 miles away, providing a scenic travel option. Enjoy the tranquility of a quiet, friendly neighborhood while still being close to beaches and local amenities.



Other Things to Note:

Please note that parking is available for a maximum of 4 cars in the driveway; street parking and parking on green spaces are not permitted. A signed rental agreement and a copy of your driver's license or passport are required at the time of booking. The reservation rate is based on the group size provided at the time of booking. Any additional guests or visitors must be pre-approved, and any associated costs must be paid before their arrival. The house comfortably accommodates 6 adults, with an additional infant in brought along travel crib. A pet fee of $250 per dog applies, with a maximum of three dogs allowed; Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) are also subject to the pet fee. Due to allergies and zoning regulations, cats and other animals are not permitted. For security and insurance purposes, exterior security cameras are in place in the front and back yards.

It was a perfect stay in this adorable beach house-Captains Cottage that had everything we needed and was immaculate! The fenced in back yard and neighborhood was great for our pup and the short walk to the private beach was heaven! The host Colleen was amazing to deal with and gave great recommendations! Quaint Plymouth Stay

The property is clean and has a fully stocked kitchen. Excellent location to the beach and downtown Plymouth. My only recommendation is to add some bathroom hooks. It was difficult to hang towels with 6 of us in 1 bathroom. Definitely recommend this property.

We stayed for a weekend in May. The host was responsive and accessible to any messages sent. There were clear instructions for the home left out as well as a list of recommend restaurants and activities nearby. Home was well furnished and stocked. We enjoyed the yard space, fenced in yard, and short walk to the beach. We had a great experience and the host, Colleen, was a delight to communicate with. Highly recommend this property if visiting Plymouth area.

Great Stay at the Captain's Cottage

We had a great stay at the Captain's Cottage. Colleen, was a wonderful host. She was quick to respond to our phone calls and messages. The house came as advertised and despite it being November, the weather was sunny and warm. We had no issues during or stay at Priscilla Beach and highly recommend the Captain's Cottage.

Great little house so close to the beach.

The house is very clean and comfortable. Nice fenced backyard for the dog. The location is great if you don't mind a short walk to the beach (I did not mind the extra exercise). Colleen provides a lot of information about the area and is available to answer any questions. We will be back!

June Long Weekend

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at this property. The home is simply furnished and clean. Communication with the owners went smoothly. Since we stayed after a spell of unusually warm weather and had family members in their 80's with us, the owners were generous about making the AC available early.

Amazing Stay

We celebrated my mother’s 50th birthday here and her beautiful home and close location to the beach was the perfect setting. Colleen was so responsive and helpful over the weekend. Wonderful beach getaway

We had never been to Plymouth, but we sure had a fabulous time! This house fit the main things we were looking for: pet-friendly, toddler-friendly (all on one-level, newly renovated), and short walking distance to the beach. The house is also very conveniently located to the supermarket, CVS, hardware store, and restaurants. The beach is beautiful - very big and great for walking, as is the neighborhood. Colleen was also very detailed in her emails, which was super helpful.

Girls vacation with our pups

Our house and host were awesome! The backyard was great for our pups to hang out in. We had great weather. Hated to come home! The on line pictures were on point to everything! The neighborhood and homes were absolutely gorgeous! Very pleasant for strolls in the neighborhood. Residents were super friendly! Would definitely come back. Very cute and small. Quick response, nice quiet neighborhood. Kitchen has just about what you need too. Only 4 stars because it was cold and despite being told we could turn the heat to 72 every day some times multiple times a day it was turned down on us. And the having to pay for a visitor rule I didn’t like. All in all good place and nice host

Such a pretty yard- comfortable house.

The house was very clean and as described. It has an enclosed back yard with a concrete patio with table and chairs which was a very nice place to unwind from the day's activities. The outside shower is super. The beds were comfortable and the washer and dryer were very to keep up on towels and rinse and dry bathing suits. The walk to the beach is 5mins at most. Priscilla Beach is a real local beach with many groups of friends that meet regularly. We were with local family and felt right at home. The water is clear- beach shoes are handy for the pebbles and stones. I love the area and we had a great visit.

We had a fantastic stay at Colleen's Beach house. Everything is as advertised BRAND NEW!! Our holiday was perfect in this home. Close to everything in Plymouth. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Lots of space and high end touches in this home. The beds were comfortable. The linens were super comfy. The beach is a short walk from the house. The yard was awesome for our kids and dog as it is completely secure and fenced in. Plenty of parking. Chef's kitchen and worked well for cooking a large dinner for 6. Thanks Colleen for your attentiveness and making our stay so wonderful.

This is the second time my daughter and I stayed at Captain's Cottage. Colleen is the best host by far! Her home is beautiful and she is quick to respond to any questions that we may have. We love her home. It is clean, within walking distance to the beach and very close to some amazing restaurants. The treats for us (and our pups) are a bonus. Beautiful Home/Great Location

My daughter and I enjoyed our mother/daughter long weekend getaway. Colleen's home was welcoming and very clean. All of her notes/information about the area were extremely helpful. We also appreciated the little extra surprise treats for our pups that joined us for the weekend! The fenced in backyard was perfect for them (and us) Just a quick walk to the beach and only a short drive to shop/dine in the Water Street area. There are so many AMAZING dining options to choose from. We did a lot in a very short time, due to the convenience to everything! So many places to see and enjoy! We will definitely be back! Why they chose this property

The layout , large yard, Proximity & Sandy Beach! The layout of the house offers a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the beach neighborhood, BRAND NEW association basketball courts and fully fenced in backyard.The house is located a short walk to the beach in a private neighborhood that embraces everyone as family! A 7-8 minute drive to downtown Plymouth and Plymouth Harbor. A 20 minute ferry ride to Provincetown ( which you can see from the beach on most days ) and a quick trip to the Sagamore Bridge. Enjoy Red Sox games, Museum or Science or Museum of Fine Arts by taking the commuter rail into Boston and brewery tours ( Boston and Plymouth!). Located ~45- 50 minutes drive to Boston. Low traffic neighborhood, friendly neighbors, miles of sandy beach at low tide, boating access and designated swim areas for the kids!The beach is also dog friendly through out the year ( difficult to find on the Cape) which is a wonderful attribute !!
