Pointe Santo D45, Top-Floor with Beautiful Gulf Views from Lanai & Sundeck

**Please note that Sanibel Island is open for business! Pointe Santo has been welcoming guests since March 2025, however, please expect repair and recovery efforts to still be happening on the property during your stay. Currently a new office is being constructed between buildings B and C. The pickleball/tennis courts, pool and hot tub are open and elevators are working (but cannot be guaranteed).

Located on the West End of Sanibel Island, this tropical beachfront condominium complex is perfect for romance and relaxation or a fun family vacation. Pointe Santo D45 is a newly decorated, top-floor unit featuring a private rooftop sundeck. With amazing panoramic Gulf views you can relax with a morning cup of coffee or an evening cocktail while enjoying the most breathtaking sunrises and sunsets!

Enjoy preparing meals in the large, open, newly updated kitchen, featuring new cabinets with granite counters and new stainless-steel appliances. The owner provides a Keurig coffee maker as well as a drip coffee maker. With all new sofas and chairs, elegant yet comfortable, as well as new mattresses for a fabulous night's sleep, you cannot go wrong with this lovely unit. The spacious primary bedroom has a king size bed and an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower and large soaking tub. The guest room has a queen and twin-size bed, perfect for accommodating extra guests, and is just a few steps away from the updated guest bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The owner provides smart TVs in each room, and an in unit washer/dryer. You will also find beach chairs and an umbrella located on the private lanai for your convenience.

From your 4th floor screened lanai, you can enjoy gulf breezes and views overlooking the tropical lagoon, heated pool, and hot tub. Enjoy a casual picnic using the gas BBQ grills around the lagoon, strike up a match on one of the 2 dedicated pickleball courts or the tennis court, or try your luck at a game of shuffleboard. Relax on the numerous lounge chairs around the pool or at the beach.

Pointe Santo de Sanibel has 141 units situated in a U-Shape looking out to the Gulf of Mexico. All buildings have an elevator (the elevators have been repaired post Ian; however, we cannot guarantee they will always be working).

Sanibel Holiday's units are equipped with the latest Wi-Fi enabled locks offering easy check in and check out with no need to pick up or return keys. Everyone in the family can have access with one simple and, most importantly, secure code.

We loved the spacious kitchen, updated master bath, w & d,rooftop deck & semi secluded lanai. Only real complaints are that the living room furniture needs replaced, lumpy master bedroom mattress and the carpet is old & stained, needs tiled for ease of cleaning. Can’t beat the many choices for great seafood & overall dining experience. Recommend new comer, MudBugs Cajun Kitchen, Sanibel Grill & The Mucky Duck. Renting from Sanibel Holiday was easy, very pleasant staff.

Our previous visit was in a different building. We found this condo very comfortable, clean (except for stains on the living room carpet) and tastefully decorated. Everything was in working order. We loved the screened lanai and had most of our meals there. D45 has a spiral staircase that leads to the roof top and we enjoyed the views there. However the master bedroom lacks sufficient storage. There is only a medium size closet in the bathroom and we found it too small to keep the clothes we had brought for two weeks. We were dissatisfied with the unsecure and slow WiFi network. Pointe Santo is a great location and close to good restaurants. We rented bicycles and enjoyed riding them to the lighthouse, the Ding Darling Preserve and even to the Bailey's grocery store.

Sheets and towels were first class as was the furniture. Lots of little details made for a fabulous stay like all the beach chairs, toys, games, etc. Didn't need to pick up anything else but groceries! Condo feels well taken care of by owners - wouldn't guess it's a rental unit as it feels more like a real home. Thank you!

I would put D45 as "average" or at least say I was hoping for more. The unit is rather dated, beds are squeaky and uncomfortable, furniture on the deck has deteriorated, bedding was lacking and amenities were scarce. Pointe Santo is a nice location and provides convenient access to island amenities. The pool is small so if that is important, this shouldn't be your first choice. Overall, it was fine but definitely not "wow".

I like how close the pool and beach are to the condo. It's a short walk so if you forget something you can easily access the unit. My college aged sons loved the volleyball court and played all week and met great people from all over the country. The pool is clean as is the hot tub. There could have been a few more items in the kitchen like a muffin pan but otherwise it was fully stocked. The staff onsite was very friendly and check in was easy. The beachfront is very nice. I would recommend this unit and resort to anyone looking for a nice place to stay. Also, the rooftop deck is a great place to watch the sunset and stars.

We enjoyed the amenities and location of the complex, but were disappointed with D45. The bathrooms need a deep clean. There is a build up of mold in the showers and the tile floor was not thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. The dresser drawers and kitchen cabinets all need cleaned out. I had to clean the dresser drawers before I could unpack our clothing.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit is generally as described, however some items are at the end of life and could use replacement. The master bedroom mattress, in particular was in poor condition and requires replacement. Also, there was a loud droning noise coming from a nearby rooftop HVAC unit.
