Excellent weekend getaway!
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay in this well-maintained cabin near Dahlonega. We liked the peace and quiet of this area, and had a great time on one of the many nearby hiking trails. Good meals with little-to-no-wait times at several restaurants within 15 minutes of the cabin. The "rocky road" description is spot on - our SUV had no trouble, but I'd be a bit nervous about anything with lower ground clearance, especially in the rain. Overall a terrific experience, and we'll look forward to returning in the future!

Nice central location
We had a great time staying here with friends. Was a nice central location to tour Dahlonega, Cleveland and Helen Georgia. We did some shopping and antique shopping. Our host recommended Montaluce winery and Italian restaurant for dinner and they were not wrong. It is highly recommended if you are in the area. We loved it.

The Chiodo's are spread out from the great state of PA to the Southern shores of FL. Everything in between is family to us. We met in FL and still call FL our home. As we continue to travel in our 5th Wheel RV (Full Time) we look forward to seeing our family and making new friends during our journey. We hold many titles and degrees but our passion is to serve others in marriage ministry and helping blended families connect with each other.

Why they chose this property

We enjoy the outdoors and the changing of the season. When we lived in FL we found ourselves renting cabins during the Fall season in the same area. One year, while renting a cabin and driving through the scenic routes of North GA, we decided it was time... and we bought a cabin of our own. We found our "Little Cabin in the woods" and knew it was for us. The woods, waterfalls, hiking, running rivers, wineries, and the Alpine village called Helen made it the perfect spot. We hope you find this area to be as delightful and full of discovery as we have.

What makes this property unique

The knotty pine wood designed home and the surrounding mountains of North Ga make this the best spot around. The Appalachian Trail and Stone Mountain Park are wonderful places to return to year after year.
