About this property
Rural paradise with rainforest views
Enchanting Eureka–tucked away enough to really escape, yet just 5 minutes from the hip locality of Federal, 10 minutes to the charming village of Clunes & Eltham, and 15 minutes to beautiful Bangalow. We’re under 30 minutes to the centre of the universe at Byron Bay, and 20 minutes to Minyon Falls and the Nightcap National Park. Killen Falls is also close by at Tintenbar.
Relax and unwind in the cottage with views to the rainforest, or the 300 year old Teak trees. Two living areas provide options to relax, and an outdoor setting under the trees takes al-fresco dining to another level!
Wander through the avenues of the Macadamia orchard, trek through the paddocks to Coopers Creek to swim, fish or gem fossick. Enjoy a picnic lunch under the 200 lush green Pecan trees. Go for a bush walk on the 100 acre property. There’s plenty of elevated vantage points to take in the sunset, the sounds of nature and bird watching.
Note: closed, sturdy shoes required for walking thru the property.
Your accommodation was originally built as the ‘Manager’s Quarters’ for the working farm. It is now completely renovated, and fully equipped for a stylish self-catering stay.

About the host
Hosted by Patricia
Patricia's an interior designer, and Frank is a graphic artist. We purchased this property just over a decade ago, and are blessed to be its custodians. Life in the country is bliss, coming from the confines of city living. We have embraced all aspects of the rural lifestyle, and enjoy it immensely.
Why they chose this property
Lomah is special. Two parcels of rain forests, open paddocks, the orchard, views, bird life, springs and Coopers Creek.
What makes this property unique
The cabin looks towards the rain forest, with a calming, laid back feel. The cabin is fully self - contained, with quality beds, linens, furniture and fittings. An ideal stay for those wishing to explore the wonders of the hinterland, and yet close enough to enjoy a beach swim in Byron, Broken Head or beyond.
