Cute house, communicative owner

The house was exactly what it looks like online, it was easy to get into and was ready for us early. We were able to easily communicate with the owner when we needed to and would use her properties again.

Well equiped

We have been renting from VRBO for many years--somewhere around 20 years. This was a very impressive cottage. Everything was there for our use--paper products, lotions, soaps and shampoos. As it was a thanksgiving trip, I really appreciated the nicely equipped kitchen. It made my food preparation much easier. Others have mentioned how nice the linens are and how comfortable the beds--we ditto those comments. It is in a very convenient location for restaurants and grocery stores. Thanks Mary for all your little touches and for stopping by to say hello. See you soon!

Not my best experience

When we arrived at the property we had confirmed 3 days earlier, it was occupied. We called the manager and were sent to another property. Great location, plenty of space, but not the cleanest rental I've ever stayed in. The baseboards were grimy, shower curtain was moldy, and there were no tissues in the unit. I reported my concerns to the manager after we left and she simply replied with a thank you. She was very responsive with assistance during our stay.

Just okay...

My family stayed here for a weekend. The townhouse is in a location that’s okay. I will say I smelled cigarette smoke in the house and all night long when trying to sleep. A neighbor smokes outside and that smell lingers inside the house. Also, the front screened door would always stick and wasn’t the easiest to open and close. The master bath shower was not operable. So, we all had to take a shower in one bathroom, which was less than ideal. The kitchen was nicely updated, which was a plus. I felt like for the price with an additional charge per night for more than 2 people was too much considering the accommodations.

100% Recommend this property! 2BR, 2Full Bath, fully stocked kitchen(dishware), living room, dining room, laundry room and front and back patio cheaper than most hotels.off the beaten path but less than 2 minutes from town. We were able to shop, eat out, catch a movie, have a few drinks and never drove more than 5 minutes from the location. I even requested to have grapes and strawberries placed in the fridge for my newly wed wife. I expected a bag off grapes and a package of strawberries. Instead they were beautifully plated and displyed when she opened the fridge. Much Kudos for the attention to detail. I picked this property partly because we had a doctors appointment at Vidant Medical center that monday, but was blown away at the convenience of this location. The home wasnt just clean, it was immaculate. Will definitely stay again.

This is a beautiful, comfortable property!

We were so pleased to be able to stay at this lovely two bedroom two bathroom luxury cottage for a week. It was beautifully decorated and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was conveniently located to restaurants and our work. We will definitely recommend this wonderful VRBO!

Great alternative to a hotel

This property was very nice, I would stay there again when in Greenville & recommend it to any one needing a place there. I was born in Greenville & lived there all my life until 3 years ago. With that said, it was also a very convenient location with access to many of the things one would do in this area. Nice to be able to park in the driveway here instead of a parking lot. Very comfortable accommodations!

There are many things to recommend this exquisite property, but let’s just start with the best beds EVER! Owner, Mary Yuen, has spared no expense in creating the perfect sleeping nest. The mattress in the master. bedroom is very supportive but also cushy comfortable and is appointed with very soft, high quality bedding. Add to that room darkening curtains and it adds up to a really great night’s sleep. Bathrooms are similarly furnished with luxuriant (and plentiful) towels and lovely soaps, shampoos and lotions. The kitchen is well-stocked and there were thoughtful amenities like chocolates and bottles of water chilling in the refrigerator. The house is very well located with easy access to major highways. We walked to local grocery stores, restaurants and movie theaters. A farmer’s market, open on Saturdays only, is just a mile away. This is a charming little gem, well-deserving of the five stars I gave it.

Clean, located close to ECU, restaurants, pubs

Stayed 3 nights while visiting our niece who is a senior at ECU. Mary was extremely accommodating allowing us to check in any time we wanted on our day of arrival. She was always available for any questions we had and always responded quickly. Mary worked with us so we can stay in this same house for graduation in May. Would definitely recommend this rental.

Outstanding quality surroundings!

Mary's two (nearby) properties are the best thing going in Greenville. Beautifully appointed and very accomodating. Two good sized bedrooms with a King and Queen and a good rental value. Mary charges more for occupancy above two which might be reconsidered as it can easily accomodate four adults. It was a great place to celebrate my daughter's ECU graduation with family - very special condo.

Perfect home away from home

This is a lovely small home, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. The owner has thought of everything from toiletries to kitchen supplies. They provide laundry detergent for the washer and dryer and coffee and filters for the coffee maker. The beds are very comfortable and everything from linens to towels is of the highest quality.
