Great Vacation Rental w/View

Our favorite part about the unit was the ocean view and large patio. We spent a lot of time on the patio or in the unit with the great view of the ocean. There were a few things that were in need of updating in the unit (i.e. kitchen cabinet under sink, bathroom hair dryer), but this did not impact how much we enjoyed our stay.

Great location and views

The condo location/views were great. The ac worked well. Close proximity to stores and restaurants. The negatives about the condo is that the furniture and beds are uncomfortable and the kitchen floor was dirty when we arrived. Not a dealbreaker, but I found the layout strange. All the oceanfront condos we’ve stayed at in the past have had the master bedroom either connected to the oceanfront balcony or at least had an ocean view. The master bedroom in this condo has no view of anything other than the parking lot.

Simply stunning location - best place to see the sun come up

We had the best stay at Cape Winds on Cocoa Beach. The apartment has all the amenities you could possibly need and a stunning location looking right over the beach. Apartment block has elevators to all floors so easy when you are laden with beach chairs or shopping bags. We loved our stay and can't wait to come back soon. Richard & Kirsty, UK

location, location, location! Right on the beach. Heated pool was awesome! Note that the condo does not have any coffee, tea, spices (salt/pepper/other) so if you plan to cook, you'll need to bring your own goodies.

This condo had everything we needed for a great, relaxing vacation - comfortable, well-appointed, perfect location, and amazing view. The pictures and description were spot-on. I had a few questions before and after we got there, and Amanda was super quick to help out. She was friendly and really went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Overall, this was one of the nicest vacation spots we've been to. We'd definitely come back!"

Amazing Condo with a Stunning Ocean View!

We just returned from a long weekend girl's getaway trip to the Cape Winds #301 and it was amazing! We wanted ocean front views and this place totally delivered, the balcony was our favorite place to hang out! The pictures are very accurate, but it's even better in person. This is a well appointed corner unit. We loved all the property amenities especially the pool, hot tub and awesome stretch of beach in front of the place! We return to the Cocoa Beach area most every October and cannot wait to stay at this place again!

Unit was clean and well stocked with towels, kitchen supplies, garbage bags and paper products. There were plenty of beach chairs, etc. I have to say that, though attractively decorated, the living room furniture was not very comfortable. A recliner or 2 would we appreciated. The couch was a bit hard and not real comfortable napping. But the beds were comfortable.

Overall, a good stay!

The good - great location! Easy access to beach! Comfortable beds! The patio and it's views, both east and west, exceptional! Kitchen well stocked with pots/pans/dinnerware/glassware. No noise from neighbors. Easy parking. Grounds very clean. The not so good - as advertised actually, only salt and pepper in kitchen. No foil, no cooking oil, no spices - nothing. Come prepared if you want to cook. Master bath needs attention - grout and chalking. Overall a good stay!

Not all I expected

Unit not as clean as it should be. Sliding doors need to operate smoothly, very hard to slide. Front door is not self closing and had to be pulled hard to lock. Air conditioning not working and had to have repaired, but unit was shot and needed replacement Lost a days use while I tried to entertain my family for lunch and had to leave for the day

Perfect for a Space Coast visit

Stayed in late June 2021 with my two kids. As they were attending a day camp at Kennedy Space Center, this condo was ideally located. The drive to camp was around 20 minutes, and each day we had direct access to a great beach outside the condo. The condo itself was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had all the basics. The pool and hot tub area stayed pretty busy so we didn't spend too much time there. In the area are several options for restaurants that had either outdoor seating or take out options, and several evenings we just cooked a simple dinner at the condo, and then either hung out on the balcony or out on the beach. The A/C worked great, we stayed cool all evening. The check-in & out procedures were super easy, and the hosts were responsive to my messages - just to confirm our arrival and successful checkout. Responses were fast and helpful. Because the unit uses a 4-digit code on the door lock, I was able to allow convenient access for both of my kids as needed - no worrying about shared or lost keys! Lastly, we really appreciated the extras - beach towels, two chairs, boogie boards and umbrellas, even a cooler for time at the beach. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Nice getaway!

Brought my family of 4 here for a break from the cold and this was a nice place to get that. The unit was clean and had a great view of the beach from the balcony. The location was convenient to restaurants and shopping. We would stay here again but there are a couple of things that keep me from giving it 5 stars. 1). The light bulb outside the entrance door was burned out when we got there. This made it very hard to see the key pad when coming in at night. We let the property manager know about the issue the day after we checked in and when we left 5 days later it still was not fixed. This was not too big of an issue (thank to the flashlights on our phones), but it leads me to wonder about how responsive they would have been if there had been a more serious issue. 2). This issue was really just bad timing. The complex next door was under going some major exterior renovations and for 2 days the landscaping crew was very active at the complex this unit is in. Workers started at both before 8am and at times it got pretty loud. So much for sitting on the balcony and listening to the waves and birds. Not much the property manager could do but it did disturb our nice Relaxing trip. One other watch out is that the kitchen was not well stocked with incidentals. In the past when we have rented through VRBO the kitchens has been stocked with spices, cooking oil, condiments, etc. this unit has salt and pepper and nothing else. The utensils and cooking tools were all there but we had to buy the incidentals. This may be something related to Covid or the state of FL, but wanted to let others know what to expect. Again, thank you for a good stay. We hope to return soon.

Wonderful condo and view

My family loved this condo for our spring break. Nice and quiet property with great beach access and it wasn’t very busy. Great place for families! We loved the location away from the busy Cocoa Beach area, but close enough to the great restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Our Cape Wind stay

The view is expansive and impressive with views of rocket launches and ships departing the port. The owners were responsive to our needs, ie; an outdoor porch light bulb that was out and a malfunctioning can opener. The master bathroom shower tile and grout needs updating and has leakage issues.

Lovely unit

We had a lovely stay. The condo was right on the beach as described and beautifully decorated. The pool is conveniently located and the parking was abundant. The unit has the basics to get you going and the shops are really close by. All in all, we had a great stay and we would rent this unit again.

OH-SUCH A FIND

This is a quiet unassuming property located in a sweet community setting. The grounds are clean and well maintained. Our unit was more than we expected as it was well appointed and best of all, the bed was so comfortable. Communications with the property manager were warm and clear. This will be our definite go to for stays along the Space Coast.

Great Beach Vacation

Cape Winds is a great place to stay at the beach in Cape Canaveral. We had amazing direct ocean views from the 3rd floor. Our unit was clean, with very comfortable beds and furniture. When a couple issues arose, the manager was very attentive and had the issues fixed within a short time. I would highly recommend Cape Winds!
