Perfect lazy Lakeside Summer Bach or Winter Adventure Headquarters

This is a classic Kiwi Bach with unobstructed access lake Okareka (across the road and into the lake). Or walk 50mtrs to the boat ramp/jetty. With 1000 sq mtrs of flat land to pitch tents, park caravans and lounge around in the sun. Rotorua's mountain bike tracks are less than 15 mins drive or ride to the entrance of the trails off Tarawera Rd, or walk around the Blue Lake. Enjoy a barrister coffee just 5mins drive up at the Blue Lake from the AirStream Cafe. All living is upstairs with fabulous views of the lake.

Outstanding location

Great location and property. Close to boat ramp with very good flat lawn for parking extra vehicles and boats. Decor in property amazing for a bach - probably the best bed I've slept in on a holiday. Coffee machine a welcome bonus. Owner really nice and friendly and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect family bach

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your fantastic property which really felt like the picture postcard of a family lakeside bach. It had everything we needed and felt like we were being trusted with a treasured family heirloom. We had a great time and having no wifi was probably a blessing in disguise. Nice time

Nice relaxing place close to the Lake. Loved the location close to Bike parks and Rotorua, but still far enough away to not get the smell and the noise. The place was nice and clean with a modern and functional kitchen. Nice view from the lounge / deck over the lake.

Pretty as a Picture

The property was gorgeous, such a lovely cottage with plenty of space outside. Fabulous location, right across from the boat ramp. The couple looking after the property were absolute treasures to deal with. Will definitely book to stay again.

Beautiful location

We loved our time here, amongst the trees with the lake so close by. The bach has a lovely big lawn and deck to sit out on.

Wonderful stay

We had a lovely time. The location around the lake is simply spectacular. The bedroom layout was a bit weird but the spaces were decorated nicely and the beds were oh so comfy. The kitchen needs a dishwasher. The house was exceptionally warm in the freezing weather and was very comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful and got back to us in a timely manner...we ended up staying an extra night.
